So, what the FUCK am I doing wrong with Kouma's wakeup? From what I understand, on wakeup, he can poke to beat another poke or grab to beat a block, and this mixup resets itself on every successful guess, and thus Kouma has a very strong wakeup game, right? And yet, a backdash or a DP beats both of these options, so I have to pick the right option out of 4 to win the mixup?

I know block beats the DP, but you have to specifically predict that. If they poke, they have an advantage now, and if they block or backdash, you lose the advantage. I'm asking how Kouma's wakeup is so powerful if it's (as I see it, I'm sure I'm missing something) a 4-way mixup in the opponent's favor.
