Wonderful thing about having a huge clump of crystallized magic on your wrist: you can USE it.
So long as you have some basic healing magic (like any good magus should), the sheer power in one Command Spell will be sufficient for near-death revival. Hell, Kotomine probably had to revive Sakura 20 times with his Command Spell Bracer that he got from Risei when he was doing OPEN HEART NERVE SURGERY.
