Tenshi's ability to crush that sword bare-handed makes me wonder whether Yumeko really is in a position for a kill shot or not. The celestial may not have a lot of natural padding on her chest that would protect her heart, but she might not need it in the first place if her hand can block a sword uninjured.

Not sure. I haven't played SWR above normal since the Iku thread. Tenko is fairly simple. Most of the characters have a pattern. For example, the best way to beat Alice's bombardment phase is to glide behind her, mid range is best.
I was low health so I distanced myself from her. With long and short range attacks, she's not fun to fight since you can lose a fair bit of health from (her) attacks stunning you.
Close range, it's almost like a waltz but I was playing aggressively at the time so I'll probably have a do-over once I get back to the game in (hopefully) the coming weeks.
Final phase is fairly simple as well, but I died before getting past it. Getting to the end was enough for me since I barely touch SWR. I'll see about clearing it later.

The thing is, the game never got past a certain point after clearing the extra and consistently crashes at one particular moment shortly after the cutscene that plays after beating Alice. I've heard of at least one person having this exact same problem. Still, the corrupted hdi theory is worth an investigation. I don't really care about the saves as there are no replay files and my currently standing scores are meant to be broken anyway. If you have a source where I could download a fresh hdi that's verified to not have the issue I described, I'd try it out.

that's the hdi i've used for dozens of ms extra clears, without issue, with the score and config files deleted so it'll function as a fresh copy. i assume that the jp hdi in the all-in-one pack on nyaa should be good, but i don't know how to test. hash-checking didn't help: i had several jp and eng hdis i had downloaded earlier from various places, and rather than jp matching jp and eng matching eng once score and config files were deleted, they were all different. so i don't know; it's over my head.

only other thing i can think of is that crashes might be due to the emulator. i use np2fmgen found on http://nenecchi.kirara.st/..
