Would Archer kill Sakura, if he found out that she was the Shadow?

>> No.2761429

Yes, but only if Tohsaka would let him.

No doubts, he's Shirou's ideal brought to the extreme, for him life is all about numbers, so 1 life for 1000 is good enough.

>> No.2761440

Yes he would.

proof would be Mind of steel ending

Archer doesn't CARE about his ideal anymore.
He's DONE with it, now he just wants to rest.
Unfortunately, his contract says "keep killing people forever". He misunderstood how long "forever" was.

>>2761446
thats true
however, he still acts like his ideal, even though he hates it

Yep, I've misunderstood OP's question,
I thought he meant "what if Shirou was like Archer".

>> No.2761477

So the real answer is
"Yes, if it helps him kill Shirou Emiya".

Would anyone care to explain why?
I don't think I'll ever play the VN but am intrigued by the reason behind him wanting to kill Shirou. I mean, isn't he himself?

You're not going to play F/sn?

Why not?

Archer is dissilusioned with being a hero and wants to destroy his own existence by creating a paradox. also small bombs

Archer want to prevent Angra Mainyu appearing enough that he actually forms a truce with Shirou in HF because of it.

Because I don't have money to buy the game. And it seems like a waste of time and yes, I realize the hypocrisy in saying that yet posting here.

F/sn is out of print. That means the author doesn't get single yen if you buy it.
Therefore, there's no point in buying it, so torrent that shit without upsetting your conscience.

Very well.

I just did a search and it looks like it was translated(http://mirrormoon.org/news/2008/11/fatestay_night_english_v3_2, downloading atm), but it appears that if I want voice I need to download the PS2 game too(which is 4+GBs).
So my questions are:
Have you played it with the voice? Is it worth it? How much time will one game through take?

>> No.2762365,5 [INTERNAL]

>>2762365,4
Yes, I played it with voice. But I read faster than the voices speak, so quite often I would interrupt them in mid-sentence (and nothing of value was lost, since I don't know Japanese).

Is it worth it? I don't know. However, I do know that if you just get the patched xp3 files from /rs/ you will save yourself a lot of time and hassle, not to mention space. Message's toaster-ready installer takes literally hours to install voice, where a simple download from /rs/ and dropping a file into your F/sn English folder will take you less than five minutes.

I have no idea how long a playthrough would take, sorry. Each of the routes is a different length and I played them so long ago (and to full completion each time).

One last thing: get WakuWaku's patch. Trust me on this.

Forgot to add: the DVD-ISO version of F/sn has a lot of "padding" which makes the file larger than it should be, iirc. Get the CD-ISOs instead and save space.
