I'm pretty curious as to how they do the Eva-Beatrice spider web scene. It's pretty much the climax of the "red text" for EP3, so it really depends on they end up doing the stuff in red. Well, that is if EP3 is even included in the first season of the anime.

There's no problem with it, but in an animation it's quite awkward to describe something that the character can physically see without showing it. You would generally expect them to convey that which is written in text to pictures.

Even in the visual novel it shows that blood splatter background when they find corpses (usually).

I'm not saying I want Umineko to be all about lolgore, but it shouldn't be excluded or toned down heavily. It should be handled in a responsible and realistic way to what happens, and to give the correct impact a scene like finding 6 murdered bodies should give.

Might be that THIS TIME they're actually trying really hard to make a good adaptation so as to not rush things too much they'd rather produce less episodes within a season but of higher quality. Since Ryukishi07 is supervising the creation of the anime counterpart of his novel, IT MIGHT as well turn out this won't be as horrible as some people think. I think the anime will be mostly targeted at fans of the Umineko, who had already read the Episodes, and are aware how the various worlds of the story are constructed. We'll know exactly if it was a good choice when the season actually ends. Rushing things is not a good idea most of the time. Deen now has a chance to redeem itself after some horrible blunders in the past, with Ryukishi's help they should be able to pull it off.

Also I think this has also something to do with cashing in. If they include Episodes 1-4 in the whole season, sure they would tell the whole story and that would probably please the fans to a great extent, however I think they would still earn more on the anime if they just waited for more Episodes to come out and later on create another season of 13 episodes to cash in some more.

Umineko don't includes fights or horror scenes at the twillights alone.

There are also developments between the characters, for example the realationships of parents and children...
also there must be enough time fpr clear explanations for all the techniques and argumentations by Battler and Beato.
Without especially the argument fight of them both the anime wouldn't make sence for me anymore.
They shouldn't release everything in a rush way.

I really want to see episode 3, but even so, I wish that they should spend an own arc in a new season for it. Otherwise I really think they won't reach the end of episode 3 without fucking let important details concerning the murder cases out, and after the next arcs noone of the non-VN-reader understand anymore what's going on.

Nobody has been translating it at all. And as far as I know there aren't even raws available, though I haven't bothered to check in a long time.

I'm really scared that the same thing that happened to Higurashi when the anime came out will happen here.

Actually, I have all the current raws for it that's readily available, both Episode 1 and Episode 2.

PewPew Scans has picked Episode 1 up, but it's going kinda lolslow right now. Sea Cat Scans has translated the entire Volume 1 but as far as I know, nothing more.

Also, most of the raws are crap and of low quality. As for the manga it self, it does a relatively good job, though it's cutting a lot of Battler's (and others) thoughts, though that's to be expected I guess.

I really hope they don't try to cram too much into too few episodes.
The higurashi anime I thought had decent pacing but even in that they left some things out, which I hear ticked off Ryukishi, and it had two whole damn 26 episode seasons.

I think they 6-7 episodes is enough time to get all the important information in, but this doesn't even touch on the answer arcs yet.
