What wouldn't you do for a Klondike bar?

>> No.2721840

Klondike bars aren't all that great.
For about the same price, you can get one of those neapolitan ice cream sandwiches, which are bigger and have three flavors.

It is fucking delicious, when I was little I used to beg my mother for a Kinder bueno whenever she picked me up from school. It was like the main reason I looked forward to school, just so I could get a Kinder bueno.

Bonbon Blocs are delicious, too.

Depends. Is it a dark chocolate Klondike bar?

Actually, this thread made me want a Prince Polo, for some reason.
So I'd probably do nothing for a Klondike bar right now.

Aw! Did you get the Kinder eggs too?
I didn't like the chocolate much- I've never really been big on sweets- but I loved that it had little things inside that you could put together.
The new ones aren't like that! I got one recently and I was so disappointed.

I've never seen it in the states, but they do have it in Iceland. I think it's because I have it so rarely that I like it so much. I only have it whenever I go down there or whenever a relative visits.

You're right, the latest wave of new toys are either pre-built or just come in one piece. Sometimes you don't even have to peel off the stickers and plaster them around anymore, because they're already glued on the surface. What a pity, I recall I fucking loved fumbling with metal cogs and rubber bands as a kid to build yet another miniatue pull-back penny racer.
With that said, last time I bought one I found a Doraemon figurine inside and that was enough to keep content.

Speaking of which, anyone remember how 10 years ago or so you could find bronze statues of knights, samurais and whatnot complete of a solid pedestal and all?
I couldn't begin to fathom how this could have appealed children, nevertheless they looked pretty neat when sitting one next to another on my mantlepiece.
