What are your theories about how and why the murders occur in umineko /jp/?

>> No.2704328

The Battler did it.

>> No.2704331

Kanon is actually a goat. Remember how he didn't want Battler to touch those gardening things in EP1? That's because then grass would've tasted like Battler. And Kanon being self-respecting goat can't have that.

Anti-Fantasy all the way.

>> No.2704336

Either Shannon or Kanon has to be one of the main culprits.

>> No.2704341

It's all in Battler's head. Silly Battler.

Think about it: When the seagulls cry, there are no survivors. Because the SEAGULLS are the killers! The culprit was neither witch nor human!

Sea Cats are murderers. PETA supports murderers.

>> No.2704356

Battler actually killed his cousins in the end of EP1, and all other episodes are him having delusions in the mental ward.

Hey, at least they're not killing lovable cute sea kittens like you, barbarian!

Sea Cats are killers. Kill and eat them before they kill and eat you.

We have met the enemy, and the enemy is invading our Walmart parking lots.

Anti-Fantasy means that you assume it was a human culprit and witches don't exist, while Anti-Mystery is the opposite?

Sorry, new to this.

>> No.2704469

Because Kinzo is constantly hidden away all the time, and the residents don't ever see him, I think he was already dead by the time they got to the island. So, the culprits are reduced to everyone that was in direct contact with him: Natsuhi, Nanjo, all of the servants except Gohda, and a new 18th person opened up by the fact that one of the supposed 18 is already dead. IMO, this theory became pretty airtight at the end of episode three, when Nanjo died, since it required someone to exist besides Nanjo, Eva, Jessica, and Battler. However, this doesn't contradict theories where other people do half the killing, like Eva in episode 3.

However, I havn't played episode 4 yet, so I have no idea if something will come up to contradict that.

>> No.2704477

Witches. And occasionally whores. Mostly witches though.

>> No.2704540

It's going to turn out that the killer is Kinzo, Beatrice is really his drag name, and so when it's said that Kinzo is already dead it's technically true because at that point he's not "Kinzo" anymore, but "Beatrice".

>> No.2704553

>>2704469
Kinzo is infact dead before October 4th, but the number of people on the island is reduced to 17. Also Kinzo appears before everyone at dinner, and everyone recognizes him as Kinzo. So in every game every visitor is led to believe that an 18th person, Kinzo, is present, and is able to replicate his features and voice. Only one person is capable of making such a farse possible.

That person is none other than Kinzo. The events leading up to the first twilight are all Kinzo's doing, mainly the challenge of the golden witch. The rants heard through the door, and the comforting words spoken to Natsuhi heard in ep 1 are most likely voice recordings made by Kinzo before he died. The reason why Battler never sees Shannon and Kannon in the same place is because 1 of them is always in Kinzo's room pretending to be Kinzo. Kannon's missing body is most likely there as well.

>>2704540
I'd fuck Kinzo.

>> No.2704807

shannon is also kannon

>> No.2704827

Adachi is the killer.

>> No.2704857

>>2704553
you didn't really read episode 4 to the fullest it seems
beatrice confirmed there is no way people would mistake Kinzo for somebody else, and that they DID acknowledged his presence. No disguise would be possible.

Therefore, it has to be someone who inherited the title of the Head of the Ushiromiya, which is safely assumed as being the new "kinzo"

>> No.2704913

>>2704857
That's just Battler's bull shit theory, Beatrice only resigned to it, but never stated it to be so in red. Lambda pretty much told us that Beatrice pulled all the punches at the end.
