Where does nightshift /jp/ get their figurines and animu etcs to raise their powerlevel from?

All I ever do are occasionally ebay, and discount anime dvd. What's this talk about jlist, are they any good at all in terms of pricing and shipping? Any others?

I get figures from hlj, 1999, yesanimation and a couple others I can't think of off the top of my head.

Also, if you're looking for figures currently, try to purchase from sites selling in USD values, rather than converting from Yen. The dollar is currently weak, and hovering under 1:100 this month.

Last month was a good time to import, however, when the ratio was more like 1:108

Ah, the weak dollar, an importers best friend.

If you're importing FROM America, yes.

Otherwise, weak dollar is BAD for importing.

e2046 has Touhou figures, but they require assembly and painting, if you're in to that sort of thing.

Any good american sites for figures?

If I don't import, I buy mine from Yesanimation.com. I believe they're based in America. They also have some dirt cheap figures in some cases.

An Australian store, they ship nation and worldwide.

USD > AUD. Use your imagination.

Except Australia is incredibly expensive in the first place, or atleast that site is. Enough so that any "savings" from the US dollar being stronger is negated. For example, Kotobukiya's Rin figure here: http://www.yesanimation.com/fanirinpvcfi.html is $18. It's 45 AUD (42 USD) on that Australian site.
