it does not stop Halo from being even more shit than DooM was. DooM has the excuse of being a forerunner of the genre ... Halo has no excuse for its shitiness. Also, half life 2 was only moderately ok. If I wanted to play a good FPS I would just get out my copy of Half Life or Deus Ex.
