Couple things I want to point out with this game:

The art is very well done and very anime like,so if the game sucks then we do have some nice art to collect.

And secondly-this game is FREE so it has no license.....therefore if we don't like it what's to stop us from redoing it? just need a bunch of smart 4channers/anime gamers to take it and make it what we will.

It has possiblitys and some characters I like,so the idea I can fook with it when it comes out is...."appealing"

It might, it might not. The devs are being pretty closed-lipped about the H-scenes. But this guy joined IRC and spent a couple hours screaming and crying about how he's part of a large sodomy community, and that none of them will play the game without anal. Did any of these result in frequent (hourly) threads on /v/ about it? Did it bring anywhere near the same amounts of newbies to the board?

What I mean by mainstream is something that people outside of the circle of NEETS/people pretending to be NEETS are interested in. While you get the odd VN, it's never been anywhere close to as popuar as this.
