No, it's terrible. Common route starts out okay, but heroine routes are crap with cheap drama, not enough ichaicha and often rushed endings. Also the game has sort of a true route, however - I'm not shitting you - it's literally two scenes long, asspulls some weird shit which wouldn't perhaps be that bad if the route wasn't fucking two scenes long, and requires you to grind the shitty minigames to unlock it.

In ... shit, what's the word for Unrequited Love in Japanese? I can't think of it right now. In that game you can steal your best friend's girl from him, on all other routes they end up together.

Hatsukoi heavily implies that whichever girl you don't choose will all end up with someone else in your circle of friends.

Harachuchu the sister has a crush on your best friend/classmate, they never go anywhere with it but since the game is about people getting infected by Kukuri's half succubus/half vampire lust power and because you infect your sister during the common route to be an insatiable sex maniac on any route you don't choose her there's no way she won't relieve herself with the guy she's got a crush on. It's left to your imagination I suppose.

Just finished my first route in Princess Heart Link. Yes I know this is late as fuck seeing as the games 3 weeks old but I work 70 hour weeks.

Games good so far, I like all the heroines, great h-scenes, the VR setting is nonsensical but you aren't supposed to be taking it seriously. The first route felt short as fuck though, I would need to get my eroge hard drive out to look through 3ping lovers and check but I feel like there was fewer h-scenes even considering that 3ping lovers has 2 girls per route. But we will see I guess.

Just started D ～その景色の向こう側～. It seems to be about some dude who wakes up on the 13th car of a train with no memories. As he goes through train cars, it seems like he travels to another time/universe or some shit (and he can't go back). The setup isn't particular or anything, but I like the atmosphere. Just finished the first route in Xenon. First time reading an untranslated VN in Japanese. My reading level is still very low, but with heavy dictionary usage I've been able to muddle through.
I think I'd say it has the best plot of all the Kanno VNs I've read so far (Desire, Eve Burst Error, YU-NO). The big reveal actually felt satisfying to me, in comparison to a lot of other stories where the mystery is more enjoyable than the answer. It does have less of the sort of character development and random banter that made Eve and YU-NO so endearing. But that's sort of a necessity, given the type of atmosphere the VN wants to create. Umemoto's soundtrack is great as usual.

My problem with Nukitashi is that the running gags get repeated so much that you get burnt out after you finish a couple of routes, but it just keeps going on and dragging the joke to death. It's a downhill from there. Only the first route has heavy mistery and solipsism elements, the second route is more a comedy nukige, third and fourth one are almost the same (I'm still playing it so I don't know about the last three ends)

I'm reading Visual Novel for about 4 years now, through the program Visual Novel Reader.
I know there was a time that he died, but he came back in 2017, and it seems that now he died again, because I have to keep changing the VPN every 30 minutes of reading or he stop translating.
I sincerely like Visual Novel Reader a lot, not for the translation (because it sucks, lmao), but for being easy to use and being transparent and like I'm already 4 years with it, so changing is kind of difficult.
I tried the Textractor translation and thought it has a really cool translation, the designer isn't very good, and I wanted to use it with DeepL (i tried once and DeepL is amazing)
And in my country you don't have the option to buy DeepL, so I got It hacked on the internet, but even so the Textractor it is showing that error that you have already translated too much and can no longer translate, even with VPN only lasts 3 minutes and then show the error again.
Now that the Textractor has been updated, nor translate with DeepL anymore translate, it is showing "Request error".
So my questions are, does VNR really die, there is no way for someone to get it back to work? And how does Textractor or another translator work with DeepL?
Help, please, I don't know any Japanese, I'm already learning English and it was difficult, I love to play visual novel, but it's getting more and more difficult.
