That's like calling yourself a Batman fan when you've probably never read the comics, who the creator is or even bothered to understand the philosophy in Batman.

If we go around calling ourselves a "fan" for anything we simply like (at most), the word loses its meaning. You are only a real fan after you bother to dive into whatever it is that you like enough to extend passed merely having saved some images or favorited some videos of it on Youtube.
