In fact, her father hasnt drunk a drop since then. I somehow graduated
from the university without a problem, and started working at a company.
6 months later, once I had made sure that everything is all right and
that we can manage, I proposed to Yukina. Honestly speaking, I'd rather
wait a little longer until I can be more confident. I know how hard it
is to be a married man and support a family. But I don't want Yukina
to wait any longer after having waited so patiently and supporting me
while I finished school. And, today, we had a small but happy wedding
ceremony at a church. Her father is not among the guests. In spite of
our strong request that he come, he could not accept our invitation from
fear of destroying the happy occassion by making the other attendee's
feel bad. That must be the only regret for Yukina, who is standing next

Fuuck do I remember this game. For me, its nostalgia at its best. It's the very first VN/Eroge I ever downloaded. I remember choosing Sari human end and saying fuck the rest.

And that mermaid sex scene? Shit was SO cash. No really, in terms of sex that was pretty awesome. I think it goes like

"So how do I have sex with you?"

Or i'm mixing it up with a Futurama episode. But none the less,I liked it and wish there was a Mermaid end. After this game I followed up with True Love and fell in love with VNs/eroge. More games these days need to be like both True Love and Nocturnal Illusion.

I really like the endings of this game, they have timeskip epilogues which explains what happened to them later really well.
It really gives off a sense of fulfillment.

I love this game. The progression system was bad (as was Dividead's) but that was endemic to these pc-98 games. I really wish that more of these gems would be tranlsated; I know they won't be translated commercially like the JAST ones but stuff like Pia Carrot gives me some hope.

It was my very first visual novel, or rather eroge, and it holds a special place in my rotten heart. I got to know about it because, at the time, I was into rpg. We used to gather around during weekends and play Warhammer for a few hours. After some grimdark adventures our gm decided to start a mini campaign with us losing conciousness in a massive snow storm and waking up in a big manor. We got to interact with the mistress of the mansion, the polite, but easily frightened meido, curious red-headed prankster and a bunch of other people as well as see some strange stuff happening around us(I can't remember clearly now, but most of the things were just taken directly from the game itself like the knight statue attacking one of our teammates or the meido abuse during the night). I found the whole storyline to be quite interesting and after a few meetings I was hooked and I couldn't wait to see what'll happen next. Every mystery was slowly unfolding and as the time went by we learned more about the mansion, the backstory of its inhabitants and the mysterious clock in the attic, but unfortunately we never finished that campaign.

I remember my friend telling me one time that he learned that our gm based the whole storyline off some porn game and that "at the end of the campaign each of our characters would have sex with one of the mansion's residents". Curious enough, I asked about the title of that eroge, downloaded the game and, well, the rest is history.

It is one of my favorites, but I'm slightly bothered by the fact that I do not remember it having clear endings, but just remember it as a stream of different encounters and sex.

Hopefully it is just blurry memories, else I might have missed 80% of the endings.
