As much as a Touhoufag I am, I disagree. All VNs and eroge, idols, japanese TV shows, figurines, etc. are as acceptable on /jp/ as Touhou. Even Japan discussions, as long as they don't turn into drama.

What is not acceptable, however, is this /a/-esque rage for everything that has recently infected the board. Even if someone came from /a/ two weeks ago here, this is the first thing he must drop behind in order to blend in well here.
In other words, just take it easy. This is the only advice you need to heed, and it's for the greater good of /jp/.

Listen, getting hyped up about the demo is completely silly and ridiculous. I wouldn't say that the threads are all started by the devs, but a lot of the fanart is clearly planted in threads to hype up the release.

Let's not leave out the fact that half of the threads are just "LOL THIS KATAWA SHOUJOU IS MAI WAIFU, DISCUSS" which is slightly worse than "SHIKI CAN KILL [X], DISCUSS"

We can't get the axe, because he doesn't want more waves of grey area bullshit. Touhou had an anime so we could easily slam that shit in /a/ now. Also a manga out so nothing keeping it out from there, but we are too numerous. Anyone not going to a secondary board already and even those that are can easily roost on a board keeping everything else out.
