This is nothing new, either. I can name a few short parody VNs and even some VNs that are parodies of VNs. If people spent their time trying to do something worthwhile instead of doing SOOOOOO RAAAANDOM meta-meta-meta-meta-parodies, then we wouldn't have this problem to begin with.

Basically, it's ironic that when trying to expose blatant unoriginality in a genre, you end up being unoriginal yourself, because so many people have done the same thing as you already. It's worse than beating down a dead horse.

I blame ren'py for including a meta-VN in the distribution.

The game was too random and the main problem was that the humor just sucked. I read most of it with a 'meh' expression, smiling only once or twice, and only one line made me actually laugh (I played through the whole game).

Another parody game I like is The Answer (yes, by Four Leaf Studios. inb4butthurtKSdev).
Both are actually funny and not completely random.

However, I must say that I liked the completely fucked up settings once you got off the main route. If it would be less LOLRANDUM it could actually be pretty good.
I also wonder what the author's art would look like if he were actually serious. This art was intentionally drawn as crappy as possible, but it doesn't seem like you actually totally suck at art.
