Seriously, who the fuck wants to play the PC-98 titles? They look like shit even by old game standards, you need an emulator to play them, and they play worse than EoSD the worst Windows touhou. Am I missing something here? Yeah, it would be on principle nice if all of them were translated eventually, but as long as even a single Windows game is untranslated, the PC-98 games can suck a dick.

MS is pretty much a windows game. The graphics are worse, but it plays just about the same. I see no reason to withhold translation on a game where the core gameplay is pretty much that of the games that "should" be translated.

While it would be great if ZUN remade the PC-98 games, I really don't think he's planning on it. He doesn't seem to be running out of ideas for new characters and I get the feeling he'd rather add new characters than reintroduce old ones.

There was someone from /jp/ planning to remake SoEW (I think, can't remember which exactly) for windows back in the Original Material threads. He only posted one screenshot and didn't say anything else on progress, though.

It should translate everything. However, StB has very little to translate in the first place. I believe it's nothing more than spellcard names, spellcard comments (ZUN/Aya's), and the tips. There's no story mode or anything.
