The janitors started becoming anal for some reason about what was 'otaku culture' and what wasn't. All the FoTM MMOs were blocked and the hotglue threads migrated back to /a/, MMD is on /e/, and japanese mobage moved to /vg/. What exactly is left? Touhou? Kantai Collection? Untranslated VNs? Even im@s threads do better on /a/ and /vg/ than here.

I'm not into virtual youtubers but at least it's something.
