What would make them appealing anyway? The Akihabara maids are not exactly stunning all the time, and they seem to work fine enough.

If I were around, I would go and give it a try, if only for the experience. Everything will be overpriced and service will be frigid at worst, but at least you get some memories.

But I stick to my assertion. Pushing obvious secondary sexual traits on skimpy outfits is far lower than modest, covering uniforms. Plus, it panders to the lowest common denominator. Breasts and Chicken, that's bound to attract a different crowd.

I've been to only one maid cafe, at the last con I went to. A good friend knew the maids there so we could stay a little longer than the time limit (since there was a long line and everything.)
