you play any one of them, realize the games are trash, and then listen to the music and blast rope to the doujins all day

I feel it's best to start at 6 to hook people because its interesting to a wide audience, go through 17, then do 1-5 and then Seihou 1 and 2
I would say it's not the best idea to recommend someone to start with 1 because they may quit there, but the general consensus being to forget that there were games before EoSD (People like >>25448006 are everywhere) is very disappointing. They may not be the best mechanically, but ignorance should never be encouraged.

Actually yes I did and I was surprised that I did way better with the pc98 games than the windows games even though the pc98 "seemed" harder to me.

Also, because of that reason, I unironically like Mima. Please bring her back.

I started with 6 and dont move onto the next until I beat the ex boss and see all the endings. However I hit the wall with Shiki Eiki and havent progressed since theb. Sad

Yeah. Even clearing Lunatic without bombing isn't an uncommon feat anymore.

I tried, but the farthest I ever got was Hard on IN like a decade ago and I'm too old and stupid to even bother trying to do that again. I'm not sure if Lunatic is intended though considering how many variables there are when it comes to spellcards between characters, shot-types, and difficulty settings. 1CC anything that isn't Easy seems to be the intended way for all of the games.

I played them all in order but I didn't 1cc just cleared. I didn't try to 1cc clear to move on until the one with pc-98 with Alice.

now i just listen to the music and occasionally watch some people play it

For 1CC Normal i went 6-17 skiping 15 now i'm going back through clearing the extra stages- on 14 right now.

As a fighting gamer, I never heard of touhou until IaMP.
