New music thread, hopefully without tripfag drama this time.
I'll start off with something very /jp/ related: a crappy remix of various voice samples from Chaos;Head.

Here is a Jazzyish remix I did yesterday of Withered Leaf from PCB. Ignore the crude MIDI Brass sections though, I need to get some better software for Horns... But all in all, I think it has come out better than I had planned.

Everything is MIDI written out. It takes time, but it yields a rewarding feeling when things starting coming together. Sample stuff can be really good with some things though.

Ah fair enough. I ended up removing a couple of sections of counterpoint unfortunately, because I thought the sound made things sound too crude. I guess maybe I should have left them in.

Some interesting projects could be done if there were any people willing to sing things. Perhaps a femanon or two could step up to the plate..

I'm not familiar with the original, but this is pretty ace piece. Really like the shuffle percussion and the piano chords. Certainly has the drive to work as a shooter theme.

I was fooling around with trying to overlay the original vocals onto my partial arrangment of Mag Mell - which didn't work quite well as I lost the original project file, and the tempo and key were both quite off. I managed to sort of make it work, but the time-stretching really shits up teh quality. Oh well. Here's the tidbit: http://www.tindeck.com/listen/pfzc
