It's all true, but to be fair Japan has apologized more than enough times, and paid a relatively sizeable compensation fund (compared to Germany)

It does appear that they have a deep-rooted, albeit minority right-wing that stirs up the shit every now and then, but I find it unfair people align them with all of Japan

And to be honest, as a Chinese myself it's pretty evident that the PRC has brought up this issue coinciding with the rise of China to strengthen it's nationalism, or else they wouldn't have waited precisely 46 years to do it - especially when the last textbook "issue" is pretty minor compared to some real whitewashing back in the 60s.
