The game honestly does not have enough variety or stuff to do. Right now it's mostly just grinding mats to power up characters once you are done with the few story missions but there is still no actual content that pushes your characters to their limit or requires any sort of strategy besides all out attacking, especially since most battles in the game are just against groups of 3 trash mobs. The game also doesn't have any sort of PvP or raiding. Everything revolving around all out attacking also causes quite a few characters to just feel pointless in battle. Hope you are not a fan of someone like Byakuren or Reimu.

The main problem with Cannonball is that it's not generous enough.
I prefer Cannonball gameplay-wise but it's hard to get free stones in the game and there's no way to consistently generate stones outside of completing story chapters and events, and while it has better drop rates than LW for common characters, rare summon is much shittier and you have to wait months for common release. Though at this point there are tons of common characters available by now, it's easy to put the game behind when you find future rolls to be difficult after completing all story chapters, like 20 rolls per month at best.

Japs dropped Marisa from being a top 3 character all the way down to spot 14 which I can totally understand since I tried to use her in the final Lunatic Ex missions and her Master Spark just doesn't deal enough damage to compete with other characters who can just use their AoE Last Words to instantly finish whole waves. Really shouldn't base their tier lists on missions that the characters outlevel by 10 or more levels.

They are adding a bigger auto mode for battles in the next update. You can even tell characters to use their last words and all their skills/grazes right away so it's probably almost as good as regular macros.

There are enough people addicted to gacha games so they certainly can. I don't think this game will drain people dry though since some of the things that people are most likely to waste their money on are not in it. There are no different rarity levels for characters so it is much easier to get viable characters. There is no PvP so there is no reason to spend 2000 dollars to get the most meta weapons/items/character combos. Almost anything goes for PvE. Expeditions in this game give you quite a lot of cubes to roll for characters, especially once you can send out 3 full teams all the time. Rare cubes are not needed to power up characters at all so there is less reason to buy those. They can also just drop from expeditions so with some patience you can get enough to buy those costumes you might want.

If you want to have it as easy as possible, make sure you get 6 characters from the initial resources that the game gives you. That way you can have 1 full team for expeditions right away. Though it's totally not a requirement. Just speeds things up a bit.

Sorry, I'll correct it. I mean, completing each event stage once (or maybe any mission) will give you one available expedition (until two hours before end of the day/login reward when expeditions are available naturally).
The game ask you to complete 30 event missions. In event mission there are stages that give you x5 point only once per completion (7 stages per difficulty, which means 21 different stages total), so I'm obliged to play all those stages first just to "complete" those P bonuses. Each completion usually will give me one 2-hour expedition, and since at normal time you can only get 3 available expedition max, that means I have to complete 3 event missions to get max expeditions then wait for 2 hours until the expeditions finish to start over again until I complete all P bonuses (21 stages). For the rest of 30 missions I just bully Yukari on Normal (which no longer give me expeditions). Unfortunately, I can't just complete the missions consecutively, otherwise the expeditions will stack inconsistently (sometimes they appear with 2 hours timer or 10 minutes timer after completing one) or just don't appear at all because of max 3 limit. So as I said before I have to wait 2 hours to play another missions so I can get all available expeditions.
21 P bonus stages divided by 3 missions each play = I play 7 times, each in 2 hours = 14 hours attention to the game + completing the rest of the mission.

Actually tl:dr, I want to do as many expeditions I can get as I complete 30 event missions so I can gain huge profits to max specific character's before I leave the game, but honestly these are just playing with my autism (perhaps intentionally so) because I wouldn't be obliged to waste my energy in such specific way and would gladly drop the game if these don't exist.

They're not limited just on rate up you can reroll for them if they're your favorite girls but if you want easier time then reroll for one of the powerful girls like Youmu or Ran. If you get someone like Chen or Sanae then definitely reroll because you're in for a horrible time.

It's laid back only in terms of money-grubbing, but it sure overwhelms you with obligations like quests, upgrading and more materials to farm. You can tell when the game let's you farm cubes easily but also give you shitty drop-rates. It "makes" you want to keep playing.

Anon... The urgent expeditions that don't appear at a certain time (9 pm) will appear after spending certain about of stamina. (23.8+0.2x player level) Only 20 urgent expeditions will appear per day. Also, the new update includes some adjustments to expeditions and I think they are likely going to nerf it.
You don't need to do all the 5x stages unless you really want to be stamina efficient.

You can check the rarity of each character in a banner. There is a button you can click for additional information on the banner screen and they list the % for anything that can drop, even picture cards. It's how people knew that the chance to get a character token at all is 5%. I think the actual chance to get a character featured on a banner was around 3%. It's super low and special features like "3 times higher drop rate for [character name]" are not as impressive as they sound when the base rate is something like 2.8% after having to first pass the 5% hurdle anyway.

Last boss on Lunatic is tanky as fuck if she keeps spamming buffs early on. Survived lvl 3 boosted last words from Youmu, Yorihime and Remilia with half health even though all of them used all of their skills and Youmu had 3 shields up. Once her buffs run out though she gets utterly destroyed by Yuyuko. All the evasion buffs in the world won't help if Yuyuko has almost 3000 CP and her own accuracy buff. Also I think she is immune to burn status completely since Patchouli's skill can't inflict it.

Worked for me 99/100 times so far for me. Sometimes Marisa survives the first turn but she doesn't do any damage because of the shields and the next turn Yuyuko's boosted auto attack full breaks her. I don't have Kosuzu so I can't test her out but it at least reads like it might not be as simple since her last word is water elemental which the boss isn't weak against despite being all about fire. That would leave the boss with one more shield than before and I am not sure if the characters can survive long enough to remove it with their regular attacks. Maybe if Kosuzu has a Lily White/Remilia card to gain extra P she might be able to break the boss with her regular shot on the same turn that Yuyuko would otherwise do. Ok you autists calm down. You guys are all half right.

Fully skilled Medi has 90% chance to do 4 poison. And given that you failed that check, she has a 16% chance start of turn to add another poison onto Marisa, making it an effective 92% ish for the 4+ breaks.

Lily White (or Kosuzu) breaks another, and so does Yuyuko for the last one, giving you a 92% full break.

In the 8% that you don't, Yuyuko has a 50% chance to break that last barrier using 2boost spread shot, making it a 96% expected success rate.

Now, using Kosuzu almost guarantees that both the adds will die before Yuyuko fires, and from my hundred or so recorded runs, Yuyuko only reaches 2 boost about 40% of the time, failing the run 60% of the time on full auto. Using Lily White gets Yuyuko to 2 boost about 90% of the time, but I only did 30 runs or so on that since it was slow as hell.

So yeah. It's very feasible with that setup, as long as you use a fully maxed Yuyuko, Medicine, and someone with at least 1 Wood element LW. Pick your poison, no pun intended.

As of current, it will only work on Nox Player at 1600x900 resolution.

To use the bot:
1) Select script number.
2) Edit the script (for example, if it's script number 2, edit battlescript2.txt)

The syntax of the script is as below.
First line: Number of run.
Second line: Quest image to be botted. Enter progress here if you just want it to bot through the topmost main quest. Not really important because the bot click repeat automatically.
Third line and beyond: bot command in battle.

s (number) - skill to be used, ranging from 1 to 9. (1-3 for first char and so on)
c - switch to backline character.
b - click back to go back to previous character.

if the battle command start with number, the syntax is as below.
(1-5 for SC1-4 and LW, 6 and 7 for unfocused and focused shot) (amount of graze) (amount of boost) (1 if this command will only be used when enemy is not at full HP, 2 is the same as 1 except it will be repeated until your enemy is dead, for most case, put 0.)

Example:
70 - indicate there is 70 run.

Pretty sure it's just so people can easily tell which role each character is supposed to play. It's not even very consistent. Remilia is a Technique character yet she does more damage than some attackers. Medicine is also Technique and she does no damage but can remove barriers better than anyone. Yorihime is Speed yet has the 2nd highest Yin attack and potentially the strongest last word in the game. Chen is also speed type and has the lowest accuracy despite not dealing any damage. The only real constant thing is the Defense type being complete garbage. If a character is defensive then they suck because the meta is the complete opposite.

Honestly I'm not surprised that they had to nerf the amount of cubes since it was pretty easy for a F2P player being active with their expeditions to spark every month. There was pretty much 0 incentive to spend when everything was achievable as a F2P so I imagine their profit margins were starting to look pretty grim. At the same time the gacha rate up is pretty bad and the abundance of cubes made it tolerable so I kinda hope they can raise them at least..

I imagine they probably turned a lot of people off of spending on the game by suddenly changing the games economy (especially since it came alongside one of the strongest characters in the game that was also limited). They also silently upped the prices of the last set of costumes to 480 cubes compared to the 320 of every other costume which caused some discontent so playerbase trust is just declining.

The fact that the game balance is pretty bad and we're probably going to get the exact same event format for the 4th month in a row probably isn't helping either.

Also some people are disappointed that summer is almost over and we're probably not getting swimsuits at this point.

Doing expeditions is the way to get a lot of cubes. You need 18 char to fill 3 full expeditions. If you are new, you are unlikely to have that many. Your best bet is to wait for the next event to get some free chars and char tickets. The next event should be here on Friday.

With the new rate and full three teams, you can earn about 20 cubes per day on avg. My ealier explanation (>>25215196) is kinda shit so let me explain it again. There are two types of urgent expeditions: ones that appear on a certain time (11 PM - 2 AM jst.) and ones that appear after you spending some stam (~50 depending on player level). Only 3 of each type will display at a time. The fourth one will queue up but anymore than that will go to waste. So you don't want to spawn more than 3 at a time. They said that there will be an update on the expeditions in the next update so things could change.

Other ways to earn cubes are daily quests and sanae's shop.

I was reading Jap comments earlier and pretty much everyone is enjoying the event in regards to the story but at the same time most people are pretty bored with every event being identical outside of the story and the only strat being to wanpan everything with an attacker.
They're adding extra stages in part 2 so that's something new this time at least.

I feel like they will never be able to change the meta of the game. Just imagine trying to play defensive and managing your aggro against that Scarlet Marisa who has 3 AoE attacks that can all instantly kill your entire team. The only way I could see a defensive character ever working would be if they have skills that allow them to use their shields for the entire party or to skip an enemy turn and even then you could still just kill the enemy before your regular shields run out.

Ibuki is my most wanted too. Still blew most my stuff on Yorihime since I didn't get a chance the first time since I was hospitalized and I like her new dress.

I do all the daily stuff and then just have characters solo the final lunatic mission. Yuyuko, Toyohime and Ran can all clear it instantly in 1 turn on their own. I just switch to another character if they start to lose their double sparkle.
