I've liked them for ages, I just don't post about them too much because I prefer the Windows games, but I don't hate the PC-98 games. Sure they are ugly compared to the newer games, but they have a certain charm with their music and spell cards. Also, no focus. FUUUUUUCK.

I liked the PC-98 games more than many of the Windows games simply because the stages and enemies had more variety to them.The Crystal section of Mystic square were awesome, the pre-fight with Elly was cool, and I felt many of the main bosses had much more personality (Yumemi for laif).

Technology is the product of common sense, which Science is the gateway of.

Of course, the above wasn't said by ZUN, but what he HAS indicated is that quite a few certain youkai become ill just from coming into contact with technology. Thus, technology is a branch of science.

I'd say certain technologies don't effect youkai in Gensokyo because the mechanics behind the technology are not "understood," it is merely "known" that it works that way. Once you begin to comprehend the way the world works and how it happens as opposed to just knowing why it happens, then youkai and magic become absurd and intangible and they just fade away.
