Some dataminers think these are the events and banners coming up in SaGa, not sure how legit it is though. Seems to line up with the Noel event just announced. I don't see the school festival limited event that got a datamined image though. New Year's should be interesting, I've heard there's some great limited styles there like New Year's Polka; in which case my Undine gems will have to go there.

Haven't found confusion resist gear; the Christmas event gives blind resist and paralysis resist gear. Though the highest status resist I've seen is only +8; I think you'd be best off just retrying the stage until the confusion either doesn't come up or doesn't stick. Which stage you having trouble on? iirc the 3 bad confusion ones are Yami, Spiral Corridor Floor 25 and the Wicked Witch.

Maxed out my 5 Scarlet Robes and actually managed to clear Forest of Mystery stage 9 just barely. Now I can finally attempt to farm the best stage with everyone else. 2 waves of 1 mob that can be paralyzed sure sounds nice.
...too bad Rouge lands paralysis less than 1 in 10 Shadow Chains. In probably about 20 resets on this stage or more, I've reached the second wave twice, and neither time did the stars align for me to get a lucky para on turn 1 against the second Kaiser Ant. I'm using that Rapid Stream formation in the hope that I can go first and paralyze, but even then the ant sometimes outspeeds me.
How many str debuffs need to go on the pyrohydra before its damage gets significantly nerfed? Seven? I've got Hector with Flowing Slash, S Katarina with Flowing Slash and her -str passive and Sophia with Bonecrusher, so I hope that's enough.

It's just unfair how her Earth zone heals my entire team for over their max HP while debuffing the enemy just from using earth moves and characters. And that's without mentioning her extremely good kit.

for stage 10? huh, maybe yours doesn't have enough INT/CHA? mine has 79 INT and 66 CHA (47/46 without style/equip bonuses). para usually lands on the first turn, and on the rare occasions that it doesn't, then the second turn. and if he doesn't land it asap on the first wave, you can reset immediately to save time.
i think 6-7 str debuffs sounds about right, hydra's OHKO attack deals 0-2 HP damage to me by then, but the fire AoE still hits my team for around 100-150 HP, no scarlet robes though.

For stage 10, yeah. Definitely not even 1 in 5 odds or I'd probably be done by now. Finally made it to the hydra once around that 20th reset I mentioned, but the str debuffs didn't do shit. Flowing Slash on Hector failed to debuff 3 times in a row, not sure if it's my usual bad luck or if there's a cap to the number of debuffs. Must've applied 10 or more during that fight, but I lost when he was spamming Feral Pounces twice a turn for 436 damage a pop despite the debuffs.
Seems you're way stronger than me though. My Rouge has 61 INT and 41 CHA (34/29 without style/equips). I must be playing this game all wrong since everyone's breezing through stage 10 reliably with the same characters as me.

Just got the bastard, so I can do it with my underleveled team. Worst part was the dozens of resets to get through the two ant mobs, but second fight against the hydra itself went pretty smoothly. He wasn't doing single digit damage with his feral pounce until I had about 14 str debuffs applied, but eventually they did the trick. Things got dicey near the end when the debuffs seemed to wear off and his damage skyrocketed, but I was lucky enough to lock in the kill. I'll hobble through this double eggshells event somehow.

probably just the stat difference then, if half-stam ruins are happening soon then you can just farm stats for A rouge there some more.
for the str debuffs they have to be consistently applied, i don't use any skills aside from str debuffs and heals (hp drain for rouge). for the record i also used SS hector at first but found he wasn't reliable enough, so i switched to S katarina, who has it both as a skill and a passive, plus if i remember correctly she has a better stat distribution to apply it consistently. i also awakened some of my str debuff skills so i can use them more.
also from my experience the boss resistance to str debuffs doesn't increase each time it's applied, there seems to be either a cap to the debuff or diminishing returns on it though, too bad the game doesn't show how many stacks there are currently, for whatever reason

Lack of stats has gotta be my main problem. I'm actually using both Hector and S Katarina. My team is Undine/Rouge/Hector/Sophia/Katarina in the Seer's Focus formation to boost Undine's damage while giving Rouge some AGI to get off Shadow Chains faster. The next thing I'll be doing is trying to awaken these str debuff skills.
Yeah, I really wish we could see how many stacks of a debuff are currently on them.

That must be where I diverged from the pack. I did farm that stage every day, but mostly I was trying (and failing) to get better gear and awaken some skills while clearing a few more VH story stages. I think another big problem I have is I keep switching focus and spreading myself too thin while desperately trying to keep up with this game. First I was scrambling to unlock the fourth expedition, then getting Rouge to drop took longer than literally everyone, then I was scrambling to get Spiral Corridor finished so I could stop worrying about it (really needed the gems) and then I was trying different things against Subier only to completely overhaul my team at the last minute, and recently I've been trying to get to the last Forest of Mystery stage in time for the double eggshells event. Been trying to grind the Christmas events on the side during most of that too. I think I need clearer goals to focus myself.

I'm not sure I like how easily you can get fucked by randomness in Saga. The margins for error are so slim when you can get hit so hard and you can't really sacrifice character slots for multiple healers.

Fast if you're on Android and rename the data folder to skip the download. Has a skippable tutorial and you get 3 or 4 10 rolls or atleast did a couple weeks ago when I rerolled. Though ideally you only want to use one of those, which is the ticket, to save gems for the future.

i've seen people here before say that you can do something about them, but i don't know what that something is, because status resist equipment doesn't seem to help. aggro position and taunt aren't even reliable either. do future characters deal with this better or something?

Yeah, the RNG factor in combat that forces you to reset until the enemy takes it easy on you (either that or you bruteforce with overleveling your stats but even then there's sometimes a risk) is easily my biggest complaint about the game. Pretty much my only complaint really, I'm enjoying the other aspects of it.

Yes. S.Diana/SS.Gustave/SS.Sophia/SS.Monika and for the last spot I was using S.Mariah but she was pretty worthless. She'd heal for a third of what Sophia did and hit for a fifth of the damage. Xmas Flurry feels really weak too. Eventually I just put SS.Aisha in there for damage because if Sophia gets one shot I'm likely fucked secondary healer or no. SS.Monika is a little out of place I guess but she eats some pretty big hits often because of taunt and deflect. I could do 14. but 15. Just hits for 500+ which is 50-100 more health than any of my characters have.

The idea behind using both Sophia and Christmas Flurry is when either of them go down, they heal the whole party and whichever one didn't die can resurrect the other so they can do it all over again.

It's basically an autobattler with Senran tits. Not really main game material, but could be alright as a side game if that's what you're looking for.

Accessories aren't as customizable as the main games. But you can give any outfits you roll to any character and recolor them a bit, which is nice.

Isabella is the only good SSR in that roll and she can't carry very hard on her own since she's primarily a single attacker in a game where most of the challenging fights are versus 6 targets.

And challenge mission SSR ticket can give you a full SSR frontline, in case support list is all lv1 SR Kanatas.
I think ideal would be if it gives you someone with high hit count, to boost combo and make Velvet hit harder.

That should be enough time to grab her; trade in all the presents you get in the event shop for the bronze A Tatyana pieces and once you have 50 you can exchange them for her by hitting the exchange styles button on the home menu. You can also get her from the gacha on the Christmas one. Speaking of, Tatyana has an S style coming in that school event I just mentioned. You'll want the Christmas style too though, as it gives her access to some useful skills like Bonecrusher.

SS Albert is a tank with the broken Parry skill; makes a lot of content easier. SS Blue is another very popular reroll target; he's a strong aoe mage that makes clearing things faster. They keep introducing new skills/status effects (read: powercreep) with each new limited set, and the remaining two general sets in the month get those eventually down the line. Then they have goddess and constellation sets to add new powercreep while the general sets are up.

I went like three weeks of playing Saga without touching SS.Emerald's Self-immolation skill and trying it now it's actually pretty decent especially against bosses that hit more than once per turn. Does extra 2000 dmg to stage 8 FoM Pyrohydra for example and he resists fire. I could swear there's some slight taunt effect to it as well or I've just been getting lucky in my last couple runs with getting him to hit Emerald.

It's a counter. If she has it on and she's attacked by anything that isn't a spell the attacker takes damage. Might also work with spells but I'm not sure. Yeah, I managed to clear that stage exactly once through extreme luck and never again. I just do stage 9 because instead of 4 and 5 slugs in the first 2 waves it's just 2 and 3 (which still fuck me up with aoe spam sometimes). Not worth the headache for a little more gold, I'll wait until I have stronger mages months from now.
Speaking of not worth the headache, I don't know what I'm going to do about the double eggshells event. 2 days ago I cleared stage 10 but it took me about 3 hours. Yesterday I reset the stage for over an hour and got to the hydra once, and was one turn away from killing it when it decided to bust out 3 fire breaths in a row wiping my team (maxed out fire res armor and stacking str debuffs just wasn't enough). Ended up autoing through stage 2 just to get my daily 2 runs done.
Stage 9 is just as bad with the 3 Golden Baums before the hydra. Might have to farm stage 7 or 8 to get the most out of my jungle tickets and sanity. And what's with this game having so many events that only last 3-5 days? Wolf ingots are gone already. All the other games I've ever played have events last 1 or 2 weeks.

What's the rest of your team look like and what are their stats? Building up OD to burst down wave 2 sounds good, but I don't know how I'd survive long enough in wave 1 to both build up OD and enough BP for everyone's best aoes considering your party's eating 2-4 Stone Showers and/or Acid Sprays every round which add up to hundreds of damage per round. A lone healer can't keep up with that, and if Undine pulls double duty as a healer she won't have the BP she needs to sweep wave 2.

I'm over halfway to getting enough to buy Katarina (probably won't make it since I'm stuck farming stage 8) but I would recommend the SS armor over Kat for now.

Looks like half stam forge ruins has already started. Gonna try to get a STR military fork and DEX bow since it's pierce day, but in all my gear grinding I've only ever gotten one weapon with a favorable stat (AGI katar) and that was just because it drops on the most grinded main stage outside of the rouge mines. If I don't get a decent weapon within this bar of stamina, I'll cut my losses and just stock up on the pierce stones I need.
Anyone have the numbers handy for how many of what type of stones you need to fully evolve a brand new S grade weapon?

It's not a bad game as long as you aren't taking it seriously. I always used to feel bad because I've been sticking to the upper ranks in PVP where it feels like everyone is either a whale or massive luckfag with full meta 4* or higher SSR teams with 50k stats more than what I have but once I stopped giving a fuck about trying to keep up with these niggers as a F2P the game is a lot more comfy now.
