Fuck no. That can't ever end well. It's just going to end up turning into another Memories of Phantasm. Where the director (because they sure as hell won't let ZUN direct it) is just gonna insert his own headcanon, character interactions and dumb interpretations.
And then people will be quoting the anime as a valid canon source because they can't be bothered to get good at games that take like an hour to beat each after you're good enough (assuming they're in for the story and are playing like fucking normal). Or read any of the mangas that have been translated for years.
