I can understand assholes: Everyone has them because it is part of our bodies and we need to defecate what we eat to survive.

I don't understand why everyone has opinions though. I understand even less why people think their opinion is RIGHT. Do people understand personal preferences and the definition of subjectivity?

For example, on an internet message board:

Forum Member A: Final Fantasy 7 is the best Final Fantasy game.
Forum Member B: No, Final Fantasy 6 is the best.

FF8 was an insult to storytelling, but from a game mechanics point of view it was the most ambitious FF game. Those mechanics were horribly broken, but it at least tried to get rid of level grinding. The graphics were a big step up from FF8, and the characters they are all better developed than the 8bit/16bit FF characters.

FF5 is the best of the pre-32bit FF games, but that's not saying much.
