I will soon start added new entries too, though.
Last thread alone had many links to some nice cameras.

Not OP
There are very few shinkansen cab view videos since the driver's compartments are separate from passengers. Of the few that are available, they are usually provided by JR and they are usually not the entire length of the line.

This playlist should scratch that itch for now. Run the titles through google translate or something if your japanese is not strong.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLr5-E7vHJbrVAxfPcZmcvAd7bVx53tLK8

Most videos taken aboard a shinkansen will be from passenger windows.

Not shinkansen for the most part, but you may like my playlists:

All (incl. 4K): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0ACQ-6KbEazVa4zjt8g04YyvKd19WpSu

For the most part the lists contain Japanese train cabrides, but there's also train sideviews, bus rides, car rides and occasional odd stuff like cablecar rides. There's also the odd video from outside Japan, where it was made by one of the Japanese guys who makes these.

I never realised how quickly the barriers go down and up in Japan. Only once have I seen the barrier down for more than 90 seconds. In my country they would go down up to 5 minutes before the train passes, much to the annoyance of everyone at the crossroads. This is probably why so many people try to drive, cycle or walk through the barriers.

An enjoyable wee camera with some interesting things passing through.

I'm wondering if my country just has one signal switch for a section of track that has a number of crossroads, so it would take several minutes for the train to get from one end of the section to the other end where I am but I still have to wait.

Whereas you can see quite clearly in the Japanese one that each crossroad has it's own switch so the barriers only go down when the train is actually approaching the junction.

I found something interesting: all trains including the stainless steel commuter trains going down the right tracks towards the camera only take about 70-80 seconds to go through from start of the bells/lights to the barrier raising again. It's the same for those fancy looking futuristic trains on the left track. But just those stainless steel trains travelling away from camera on the left track take far longer to pass through, over 2 minutes! The warning lights for the crossing down the track don't even start flashing until a full 80 seconds after the lights at the main crossing, despite trains only taking about 20 seconds to travel between junctions. There is nothing on the track behind the camera that could slow the trains down, so it seems like someone has messed up the timing program just for those steel trains at this one crossing.

Mostly unit trains of oil/gas/chemicals. Most of the flats you see carry the same stuff that US containers carry which means pretty much anything under the sun. Due to the gauge (width of track) of Japanese railways though the trains can't be as long, I think the max length is 26 cars.
