I just played an hour or so of PoFV with a friend. I've got to say, if you have ANYONE that can play this game with you, do it. It's the most fun I had in weeks. I considered th09 to be one of the weakest of the games but playing it in multiplayer made me rethink my opinion.

I still don't know how half the things work like scoring and how to properly level up your spells or what not, but it is pure fun. Especially when you both manage to survive for long and the bullets comes raining down like hell.

Give it a try with someone if you can.

There are PoFV threads here every so often. Lurk and you'll catch one.

>friend
Oh boy, that's a foreign word around these parts. Where did you hear it from?

Never played a fighting game, I see.

Funny, I rarely see one. There was one last week with people netplaying I think, can't remember much more.

Either way I wanted to post it anyway, I think the game is generally underrated.

>> No.2424918

Maybe if he makes another one with decent, built-in netplay and there are actually people to play it with.

Have you tried to use Adonis? I played with this friend over netplay, virtually no lag at all. We live some 500km apart.

>> No.2424950

someone could host some matches using adonis and play it online with the people in this thread

in after FREIND trolling.

i think yesterday or the day before someone was hosting from US West. some matches and i live in south america and there was virtually no lag playing it

Most netplay threads here in /jp/ are MELTAN. SWR comes in second while PoFV in third (and am I missing any other netplay threads?).

I might as well as play PoFV netplay. What do I do to connect to a friend hostan? And what do I do to host? I've already put the adonis files in my TH9 folder.

>> No.2425013

>>2425000
there is a guide in the readme file to host or to connect it's actually quite simple to do and i could try to host but I live in south america so i dont know if it would be a good idea to host

although i think maybe if i set the latency to 9 it could work better cuz i read that the longer the distance the higher the number i should set

>> No.2425169

You can play Twinkle Star Sprites on 2dfighter with better netplay but no Touhous if you really want.

>> No.2425188

>>2425169
I tried that once, but apparently I live on 7,107 islands that are too far away from anyone else to get a decent connection going.
