Wrong. Everyone knows the world's worst accent is Welsh.

I also cannot stand a heavy New Zealand accent, its Australian and British put together, both of those accents sound lovely, but put together, AHH

American accents are so terrible. No even real accent but some sort of malformed mutated version of the language. They even made the dialect as the official grammatically correct way of using language. Next thing they'll do is to uphold eboniacs as the grammar. Hay iz dat doob dems nood bix dub ix nigga. Same thing with the white accents. Got to love americas with this one. One of the most loathsome things in existence. In real english accent is supposed to mean something, you know. It determines origin, social class, hierarchal position, trade and countless other things.

Other thing that should perish from the world is the utterly disgusting immigrant speak with all of its pidgins and waste. Languages do not blend. Just like cultures should not blend. Perhaps races should not mix either, who knows? Anyhow, it truly kills me listening idiot immigrant rats talking with their self-invented basdardised english. And then, these rat expressions eventually find their way into the original language. If I could decide every single one should study old macedonian-slavonics. That is where you take linguistic influence, you nation fleeing vermin traitor.

I don't like spaniard accent. It's not only confusing, but I tend to pick it up after a while. And then they look at me weird as if I'm making fun of their "ess" pronunciation and embrace of a dead system for conjugation.

Seconding that scottish is oddly pleasant.

You can tell when someone is australian because only they can tell the fucking difference between new zealand accents and their own.

Gentleman's english is awesome. I wish I hadn't been such a stupid little bastard in grade school and didn't bother to learn it right.
Also an irish accent can be pretty damn appealing too.

fish and chips= australia

And what is this gentleman´s english, then? Some sort of self-invented term because you are too daft to know the right words for the right things, even though you are a native speaker. Shame on you.

I used the term because it was mentioned earlier in the thread. To me it would be upper class "proper" english, though not to the point where it starts to become self-mockery if you see where I'm going, what you'd expect a competent no-nonsense butler to speak in a movie.
>>2420469
Indeed, seeing as I spend my time here you can imagine that I don't have all that many to boast of.

>> No.2420498

>>2420485

For native speakers of english I guess it's just really hard to imagine a clear difference. To speak how you would describe I'd just use different synonyms, maybe more polite tone and phrasing of questions?
