They used to make 1-2 games a year even with animation heavy games like Love's Right and Mofuku lolita didn't slow them down. In 2013 they came out with 4 animation heavy or story heavy games:

After Mako they slowed almost to a stop. Rokan 12 was hardly anything compared to Ver. Mako. We basically just got 12 scenes with 12 girls. No story, just 12 scenes with 12 girls. This is a quarter of the effort we got from ver Mako.

The only things I can think of is they either burned out or made enough from ver. Mako to stop giving a shit. Going off the numbers from DMM alone it made them over 30,000,000 yen.

Patvessel anon, I know you want to translate something shorter first, but I'd like you to try something I made.
I made me a script to wordwrap lines in the EAGLS engine, the requirements are:
- python3
- knowing how many pixel you have to display text
- finding out what font size the engine uses for each (F=[0-9]) instruction to format text
- lines to wrap need to have the format &NUMBER"TEXT"NEWLINE

To check if my script works the same on other EAGLS games I tried it on Patvessel, and I only had to change a few lines.
I checked around 1000 lines I borrowed from my game, seems to work fine. Pic related, you'd have another row and more space in each row.
The backlog looks worse though, dunno how to change the font there.

I was bored, so I did the formatting already. Original lines are commented out and removed on wrapping, and dialogue (voiced and unvoiced) has the japanese quotes in it. You can remove them if you don't like it of course, it's just easier to detect dialogue when wrapping and handle it differently.

Been playing this new Bishop game. I've mainly been doing Kyouka's scenes so far, but then I switched over to Hasumi for a change of pace and I gotta say she was a LOT hotter than I expected.

I didn't expect her to be that hot but once she pulled out those knockers I nearly coomed on the spot. The h-scene that follows this was really good too. Good shit, real good shit. I get the convenience of sprites is that they're effectively paperdolls, but breasts and pregnant bellies do not fit into that convenience and need unique changes to both the breast and overall stomach of the sprite so that both the breasts sit properly and the pregnant belly doesn't look like a flabby protrusion. How the fuck do I get the animations for this POS to work in-game?
I always use locale emulator, got codecs, no fucky characters in the folder name, nothing, just blackscreens in game when I try and replay some scenes that have 'em.
Seems it's not the only game from G.J? to suffer from this either. I'm sometimes able to get one to work after reinstalling but then replaying that same scene it just never works again, game is also laggy as fuck 99% of the time.
My only other guess is that it's shitting the bed because I'm on Windows 10, but I haven't had this happen with other games before, even if they are older.
