Use your second monitor / computer for all reference related bookmarks, that's what I do. The moment you need to look up something, check your mail, bank statement, bills, find a workd, wiki something, etc... you get the point.

I can't for the love me figure out what to do with a third monitor / station near me other than have it display a picture.

I'm under the assumption that we also have a TV running at the same time. Most common setups are

1) TV
2) Two Monitors

Like the OP's picture, I can't figure out a damn thing to put on the third monitor / station without going ADD. I can split my attention 2 way (TV and Main computer) with a standby (Reference monitor), not sure what to do with a third. I've tried so many things in the past to no avail. I've actually had 3 monitor + TV setups in the past that always ended up with me selling the excess monitor / computer off.

Same goes for consoles, you just need hdcp compatible monitor. Well, maybe a TV would be a bit more convenient, but they are big, heavy and just collect dust most of the time.
