Hello members of the Ushiromiya family,

My name is Beatrice the Golden, and I despise every single one of you.
All of you are greedy, sinful bastards, who spend every second of their day trying to get more money.
You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever donated money to charity?
I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own wealth, but you all take to a whole new level.
This is even worse than fighting over Kinzo's inheritance.
Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect.
I am a thousand year old witch, and i can do anything I want with magic.
What magic can you use, other than "Creating imaginary friends"?
I can also revive people, and have a incredibly hot furniture (He just licked my toes; It was SO magic).
You are all faggots who should just kill each other. Thanks for listening.

Pic Related: It's me and my toy.

Did you not even read the games? He summoned her, and she was so impressed (due to his absolute 0 natural talent in magic) that she decided to accept his request, though not without stipulating the contract first.

Ahh yes, I think I remember her mentioning that. Still, it seems werid that that's all it took to convince her.

Especially after her looking fondly at his back and saying "Kinzo you fool", I'm still under the impression he did more than just that to convince her.

Have you forgotten how evil Beato is? She said herself she wasn't even going to listen to Kinzo at first, but finally did because she was impressed, but it's probably the evil contract that really made her agree. What's better than getting to kill your contractee's entire family over and over again in agonizing deaths?

>What's better than getting to kill your contractee's entire family over and over again in agonizing deaths?

Didn't she only make that contract after her "human" form died and she was wandering around as butterflies on the island?

>> No.2371585

>>2371561
How could she possibly have done that? Only Shannon and Kanon could even see and talk with her, and that was only after she waited long enough to actually be able to materialize a solid form again.

Basically, Kinzo summoned her and they made the contract. Beato, who was under a contract, thus couldn't leave Kinzo's side, so when he bought Rokkenjima, he made a separate mansion in the woods for her to live in, but somewhere along the line Kinzo fell in love with her. Later, she got bored of Kinzo's advances and tried to get away by "killing" her body, but Kinzo was able to seal her soul in a homunculus that looked just like her. Anyway, you know the rest. She "dies", waits 20 years and finally is able to revive.

>What magic can you use, other than "Creating imaginary friends"?

Damn I almost raged at this.

>> No.2371604

>>2371585
Ahh I see I see, that does make sense. So she made the contract originally when he summoned her then? I wonder if they made a date for when the contract would take place, or if it was basically whenever Beato felt like collecting her debt.

I suppose if it could also be done to cause her resurrection it would be like killing two birds with one stone.

Where'd he get the gold from? Or if the gold doens't exist how did he manage to build up his fortune?

All a series of lucky gambles?

>> No.2371639

>>2371604
From what I could tell, the resurrection ceremony only came up later after Kinzo spent the remainder of his life trying to find some way to revive her. In any case, the contract was most likely going to be up either when Kinzo died and she takes back the gold and all of the interest anyway, or he gives it up, as he does in each game by giving up the head's ring. Plus, I doubt she foresaw that she was going to be driven to "kill" herself, though who knows really, it is Beato after all. And don't forget that Beato spent those 20 years plotting her revenge.

Probably from a western woman who's name was Beatrice. Maybe they were in love, but something happened, and she left her entire wealth on Kinzo. But we don't know it yet... we can't know it yet due the lack of information. But I wonder what kind of relationship he had with his wife

Ahh yes, that makes sense. It fits that beato would do something like give a man gold and riches to build up his family just to have her come and kill them all years later.

Thank you for answering my question, kind anonymous!

Then how do you explain the existence of Beatrice the witch? Maybe that argument worked in EP1, but it's moot at this point.

Battler's imaginary friend.
Beatrice only appeared after episode 1 after all, where there is no meta world either.

Yes, after everyone is dead and events are done, you see in some weird place 3 weird ladies talking about weird things.
Until Episode 1 is fully explained, including why Kanon went around using axes instead of his faggot blade, or why Rudolpf said that he'd die, there were no witches involved.

>> No.2371758

>>2371733
If you just remove all magic from the latter episodes, then they are similar to the first one. But you mustn't do it, these events and characters are trying to represent something as well

>> No.2371897

EP4 sends a HUGE blow against the anti-fantasy/anti-magic argument: For the first time, Beatrice appears before game-Battler, while in game-Battler's perspective. Happy_maria_uta plays for the first time while this happens, and the anti-fantasy side just got it's head fucked with.

And please expain the person made up of golden butterflies raising a staff at Natsuhi in ep1.

>> No.2371911

>>2371897
First use magic to explain Eva shooting Battler with a shotgun in episode 3.

>> No.2371924

>>2371911
Sure. Game Rokkenjima is in a state of flux, where either Battler's or Beato's arguments can effect the reality -- which is magical in of itself, but anyway. Beato simply denied a magical explination herself, and reality changed to fit a non-magical cause. Doing so however forced her to deny that she was a witch which is why she wanted Battler to close his eyes, so that the "truth" of her existence would remain at least to him.
