Cannonball has much easier farming/upgrading system compared to this game.
Then again I guess this is how Gacha is supposed to be, since SMT Dx2 I played is exactly like this down to using in-game currency for everything in addition to required resources. Still, at least Dx2 doesn't ask you to pay for rolling as well.

I'm glad that Patchouli is so good. Strong shots with 1 being AoE, strong spell cards, gets more and more elements added to attacks if she boosts so she can break enemies easily and she resists 5/8 attack types. The only bad thing is probably that her first skill is pretty useless and that all her spells are single target.

I did one of the early hard mode missions a few times but the drop rate in that mission is so bad that you can do 20 fights and get none. I for one still prefer Cannonball's much simpler upgrading and resources. LW looks like the typical gacha where upgrading feels like unnecessarily complicated because there so much you need to do for one character and many different materials to keep track of.
CB is also much more generous with higher rarities. It's not that hard to get 5-stars from rolls and upgrading from lower star to 4 star doesn't take much effort (though upgrading from 4 to 5 is a huge jump and it can become grindy as shit). Admittedly, it's easier to do rolls in LW because cubes seems to be easier to get (especially from expeditions) while in CB you need to wait for event and new chapter to get sufficient amount of uhh...quartz. In exchange, the drop rates in LW seems to be more horrendous on top of only giving base rarity.

My Medicine dizzed yukari real good when she got down to around 2k heath after getting hit by medicine's single target spellcard (plus crit of 250+ each hit for some reason) which is nice. There is some glitch with levelling up that causes your characters to gain a level on the victory screen, only for the character to actually still be at the previous level with a maxed out EXP bar. Doing another fight will then level up the character again but this time for real. Noticed it while grinding in one of the early hard mode stages. Seems to happen when your character gains exp in really small amounts so the game gets confused.

What you have to do is copy the game folder in /sdcard/Android/data somewhere on your pc (I pulled it with adb) and use the tool to inspect the folder remembering to filter by Texture2D, typing Efuda to filter unrelated assets and sorting from by size (larger to smaller)

Just when I finally characters, they are all duplicates of what I already have. I'm stuck with Patchy-Sakuya-Sanae team from starting roll and my very first in-game roll, no new character since.
Also, got an accident when I tried to merge like six duplicates of one 5-star card. Somehow I merged an upgraded card (lvl 2 or so) into base card, but the former still count as 1 so it only upgraded my card to lvl 1 and it happened multiple times.
