There's no problem with that as I can use a deputy service to do this for me. But there seems to be no contact us for purchase queries type info on their site.

Bizarrely it looking more and more like the easiest way for me to get a hold of a good kig mask is having to make my own. Something I don’t really wish to invest the time in doing.

And it's easy to see why. It seems to take a lot of skill and knowledge to make a good kig mask and there doesn't seem to be any good instruction set on how to do so.

I don't have big dreams.

Just simple ones. Basic ones. The ones that every guy on the street would have. A career. A family. A good life.

But every now and then, something bigger comes by. A new car. A new house. A new electronic trinket. Could be anything. But once it's here, once it's available, there's an immediate desire for it.

And on this day, she was it.

I don't think she saw me, looking off and away, towards the water below. But I certainly saw her.

I guess what caught my eye first was her hair. A brilliant sky blue. Unusual and clearly artificial, but its job was to garner attention, and my full attention it had.

She appeared to be wearing some sort of maid's outfit, though I couldn't place where it was from. The white frills did contrast nicely against the dark body, though.

I debated in my head over what to do. There was still something odd about her that I couldn't quite place at the time. Perhaps her head seemed a few sizes too big, but I couldn't come up with an adequate reason why that would be so.

At least, until she began to turn.

She turned slightly to her left, still staring slightly downwards, towards the water rather than the city across the way. She let her left hand fall limply behind her back, as if in boredom.

I don't think she spotted me yet, but the slight glimpse I had of the side of her face explained that odd feeling I had before.

I should have noticed it in her skin. It was too perfect. Before, I had thought that the light coloration and lack of blemishes upon her legs were due to pantyhose, but her left hand was equally light and clear.

It was a doll's skin.

And her face was that of a doll. The slight, perfect nose, the large eyes, and the unique interplay of light upon her face was that of plastic, not flesh.

She was not real.

Though by this point, I had ceased to care.

She moved again, this time walking towards a small concrete bench.

I did my best to look through her, to the city across the way, hoping she would not see my stare.

I took a breath as she apparently ignored me, and produced a small leather bag from her right hand, where I had not noticed it before. She proceeded to sit upon the bench, and opened up the bag, placing her delicate doll hand inside and sifting through the contents.

After a few moments of this, she shut the bag, and placed a finger to her chin. She did not move for a time after this.

Perhaps she was lost in thought. Perhaps she had misplaced an item of consequence, or perhaps she was checking that an item of consequence had remained in her possession.

Finally, she covered her bag with her hands, and looked up at me.

Right into my eyes.

As if she'd seen me staring this whole time.

She said nothing.

Though, by the hard, fixed plastic look of her mouth, it was likely she wasn't capable.

She was capable of moving though, which a normal doll would not be able to do.

Her continued stare had the effect of derailing this train of thought, though. It didn't really matter who or what she was.

It wasn't a cold stare, despite her static, unchanging eyes. It was one of curiosity, as if I were the one out of place here, and not her.

But I'm not special. Just another guy out of the whole, who happened to be here now and noticed the unique existence of this living figure.

She continued to say nothing, and continued to simply stare.

I didn't say anything.

I was certainly capable, but nothing appropriate came to mind.

It seemed like we had been aware of each other too long to simply say "Hello." And even if I were to attempt something, she seemed unwilling or unable to respond.

So we were blocked.

Thoughts ran through my head. Options, greetings, sentences. A bit of me wanted to just leave, pretend this hadn't happened. But the original desire that brought me here overruled it, though it hadn't given me another course of action in return.

After a time, she moved. She tilted her head slightly to her left, and placed her index finger to her mouth. It was an extension of her previous look of curiousity, seemingly expressing more interest in me.

The effect of such a simple shift was quite extraordinary. The slight difference in shade upon her face seemed to shift her expression from innocence to wry acknowledgement, even though her features remained fixed the entire time.

What was more impressive was the way she seemed to know the features of this complex interplay, and freely used them to express herself, in lieu of words or facial expressions.
