So I just got off the phone with my cousin in Hong Kong. Apparently he's playing Remember 11 right now and has all the Higurashi VNs downloaded and translated to chink. Why are the Chinese so ahead of us in terms of Visual Novel and otaku shit? I thought Chinese people hate Japan. I mean fuck, usually people who translate are college students with free time right? Chinese students are supposed to be hardworking and all their freetime is spent on studying, while here in the west...well....we either go broski and get drink and fuck chicks or geek out.

Its because if you haven't noticed this yet, they're incredibly hypocritical. I'm studying abroad right now in China and their opinions generally range from just not fond of to complete hatred of the Japanese. But that doesn't stop them from copying Japanese fashion, music, etc. Same obviously then goes for Japanese products. And PROTIP: college is incredibly easy in Asia. Ridiculously difficult entrance test, and then you're home free until your last year. Anyone who's been telling you different is most likely just being nationalistic. Our colleges are far harder than their's. Its just that up until high school they have a much more busy and difficult academic life than we do. We basically dick around until college and then we spend the first two years learning what we should already have learned.

The way it works for those who go abroad is that its mostly rich kids who were too stupid and lazy to pass an entrance exam for a good college in China, and the rare others are extremely intelligent students who came to America to study. I met alot of the former before I went abroad to China, but I also luckily met one of the latter and he was incredibly intelligent. But China puts the other foreign countries (aside from African ones) to shame when it comes to shipping out trash students abroad.
