Considering the role she is supposed to play in the story, she is unique. She has the unfortunate aspect of being the exposition master, but the contradiction of knowledge and actually living is a nice touch.
Finally, she at least gets two distinct views as a character in the two near-side routes, which helps you realize that she doesn't stand for cute and ditzy.

Biggest problem, may be the way the romantic relationship is formed, it's overshadowed. And she should get angry more often in her own story, seems almost shallow if you don't consider both routes.

Or simply, I love that skirt and pantyhose.

If Armageddon were to be encapsulated into a human form, it would have taken her own.

A calculating, ruthless, and cold killer of men.
She manipulates and controls others as she sees fit, a very common trait amongst those of noble blood.
Centuries of being entombed within her own castle led to her mind shattering, but like shards of crystal, it has made her no less beautiful...or deadly to the touch.

A truly powerful Hand of the Church, renowned for having ruthlessly executed the enemies of the Vatican without clemency or quarter.

She extinguished the very root and stem of vampire lineages for daring to oppose her.

One could very call her the parallel of the brilliant military campaigner Lord Tywin Lannister.

Plus, she is more of a fairy.

What does /jp/ think of Beato as a character?

>> No.2346202

>What does /jp/ think of Arcue>id as a character?
Cute. Typical 'Animu gaijin beauty' but with a nice touch of modesty.

Interesting: A typical bird in a golden cage but with certain aspects that make her unique. Her former self, Crimson moon and her frightening fighting skills are but a few of those aspects.

Cliched. 'I'm a superior being compared to humans, but I do not know the happiness of a simple life' Where have I heard this before? Oh, right, EVERYWHERE.

Inconsistent. Can be a ruthless killer or an adorable Moeblob depending on the plot needs. Kinda like a minor version of Ciel. Nor Shiki's attitude towards her nor the differences experiences she feels are ebough to justify such a gap between the same character. Because, as we all know, nothing can change the nature of a man.
Or vampire, as the case may be.

Arcueid: In the end, arc is arc. That is all.

Perhaps it is often forgotten that Arcueid's child-like tendencies are, in reality, a reflection of her madness.

One should always keep in mind that she was a weapon engineered by the True Ancestors as a perfect hunter/killer of the false vampires.

Not only is she capable of executing True Ancestors who have fallen prey to their baser urges, but she also has the cunning and capability to wage war against the lesser vampires who plague the Earth.

While she does not enjoy drinking blood, she has no qualms about spilling it.

If anything, her 'cute' quirks should be innately disturbing, serving as a jarring contrast to how ruthlessly she ends the lives of those who oppose her.

>> No.2346232

A "vampire". Right. Why not just call them Eldar Spirits or something, it would actually make more sense. Typical Nasu genius: vampires which aren't undead, don't drink blood (best ones anyway), have no problem with sunlight, etc.

The regular vampires are undead. True Ancestors are the purest example. They're not fairies, but elementals. No alignment, just a part of nature.

All of them eventually drink blood. All of them. The True Ancestors become Demon Lords. It's inevitable.

Sunlight does affect Arcueid. Lack of the moon, anyway. Sunlight harms Dead Apostles.

Bad trolls.
