Imagine if you were born a Japanese. Chances are you'd still end up like a real hikikomori loser, but here's the good part - you can now blame society! Instead of realizing your failiure to succeed in life is due to how much you suck, you can blame the educational system, the repressive society or the bullying! Awesome!

>> No.2336648

I could do that right now.

That's pretty cruel man, in some cases it's really society's fault. Where is it written we must all be ubermenschen to live life?

I already do blame the students and teacher who bullied me at my school in the middle of the post-industrial shithole that I lived in, which has to this day made me wary of anyone I don't already know well, and I already do blame the parents who beat me until I walked out on them to go live with my grandparents, which meant that I was left with no friends, making me even more reclusive and socially retarded than before.

Maybe if I had tried harder, I could be a Randian ubermensch like you, but I guess I'm just too weak. Kind of like all those homeless people and drug addicts who also brought it on themselves, right?

By Japanese sociological rules you'd blame yourself more than likely. If you want to blame others, america is your best bet.

These are the things are hikikomori have problems accepting. Have you ever read NHK ni Youkoso? The protagonist blames pretty much everyone but himself for his problems.

I wouldnt blame it on anything. It's my own fault i'm in my situation, and it isnt too much to own up and accept it. As long as you believe, you can succeed. Even a lazy ass loser like me can get somewhere.
.....By the way,OP name of the girl in the lower right hand corner?

So, is this a good time to start a hikki thread? I have a quite specific inquiry to make, but I'm not sure what time hikki threads are best received.

Probably because the others still seem like jokes, while the cat one really does seem like the person has no friends.

But it's a really important life-changing question (seriously), and it's not particularly easy to answer either. I would need a whole thread to myself to have any chance of succeeding with it.
