Anyone thinks that it's time for Ash Arms to do a collaboration with a popular franchise to keep afloat? They haven't even put out a new skin in a while, and all the new units are flop after flop. The fact that they haven't even added a way to get fragments for a lot of release units yet, and that the new fragments for the 6 stars can only be obtained in the crystal fragment shop is pretty bad.

BlackStar Theater Starless. Lots of good songs, and event songs are "permanent" since you can use tickets to play them. Events are hard to do than your average mobage too because you have to level up the boys you want to use in a separate feature, and unless you level them here they wont do score. You can have 5 5* at lv50 but without doing that you wont have score, I myself use 3* max leveled and get 150k score when I need 300k or more, but is because I didn't gacha yet.

Lack of skip ticket isn't what's going wrong in Ash Arms.
With their current system even if you have skip tickets you still can't lb 80% of the dolls in game, and it's the game biggest problem.
Waiting half a year and more for a slim chance that they would add your favorite doll fragments into their medal shops is just a fucking terrible joke.

Yes that's why they would be shown in the S4 announcement video if they're playable but they're not. Who knows though some of the earlier bands had VAs in S1 and S2 they might reuse them for the mobage although they did change singer for the main bands around the time S1 started, see Tsurezure and Trichronica.

It's fun but at times it's time consuming if you want to optimize stamina usage. A play session lasts for more than 15 to 45 minutes every 6 hours depending on if you're gonna level up or not. And that's using 10 stamina points per song.

Depends on what rank you want. I'm currently around rank 1150 and Pic related is my team. I'm already done with the point awards and trying to break into the 900 ranks by only playing hard songs. I'm too much of a shitter to do almost all of expert songs but even then I usually get around 600k-735k per 10 stamina with the right song. I do have 3x damage(5%) and hidden notes すこし(10%) so that definitly helps if you want more points.

The're always a song from the ポイント UP list that has the best Stamina/Difficulty/Points ratio like last event's Last Flower then replaced by 惑星のダンスフロア for hard and I was doing 400k back then without modifiers. Is definitely a stretch. I'd say "often" at best instead. They definitely don't have especially good gameplay. I definitely feel like japan's mobage market is way more stagnated than china's. A lot of the more popular games like GFL, AL, Honkai Impact etc. were originally chinese games.

Anyway, what other countries even make gacha games other than japan, korea and china? For koreans the grind is in their genes as is evident of their MMOs especially when they were more globally popular a decade ago. I can't think of that many chinese gacha games now that I'm trying to think of them. I think they just go the Colle construction route more often.

Two parts:
1. Home Servers always has to pioneer most of the time for release stuff, so the thing that ticks people off ends up having Japanese developers giving more compensation as a result due to how they can't pull out fixes instantly.
2. Japan has more revenue put into the gacha market then any other market (besides that, it's China and Korea). Even then, some gachas are more extensions of IP's then anything (Star Ocean Anamnesis or Valkyrie Anatomia) and they exist only to provide a ongoing experience while the series are on hiatus or lack of funding.

The other reason for this is that the JP monetization models recently have started to include a lot of things that require paid currency to roll. So keeping your players happy means they're going to stick with the game and feel more comfortable with buying pick tickets or rolling the random ssr scam gacha. The generous compensations are an investment that will often provide good returns in the future.

They should demolish the whole shop rotation system and let players trade for any doll fragments they want, as long as they managed to "unlock" the dolls through gacha, events or grinding. The current system simply discourages people from rolling or using new dolls.

I hope the inclusion of the western continent includes some form of dungeon that has farmable guiding light/luring shadow. Having a fourth skill on some characters is such a huge improvement and without a way to obtain this it seems pretty shitty. Unless you're a turbo whale most people wont have that amount on their characters, not including the grindable non-gacha exceptions. I've invested into a few paid tickets myself along with playing for over a year and the highest gacha character I have is Mariel at 56.

They said they would have all the standard party members in by the 4th anniversary, which means they'll drag out adding these 20 in over the next 10 months. They also have plenty of boss and NPCs to add in the mean time and by the end of the year they'll have Crestoria and Arise characters to use as well. You don't know the half of it, they slowly removed any way you could farm decent equipment or materials without paying, they fucked up a weapon upgrade tree that lets you make high tier weapons from shit weapons, everyone who abused it got to keep their weapons which combined with above meant that anyone who started late or didn't abuse it would never be able to catch up. Not to mention half of the skills either didn't work or were just straight up wrong even in Japanese.

PVP ended up as Battleships just completely dominating making any other class moot, then a certain cruiser ship started getting used that had the ability to drain the opponents energy meaning that the first person who manages to fire off said ability essentially won because the other wouldn't be able to fire at all. Then it just lopsided to Carriers that just ran away at full speed while they bombard you with planes half a continent away.
I could go on, Blue Oath in comparison is a godsend. Just the ability to duplicate SSRS alone makes it better than Abyss.

It’s alright.
Feels a bit too grindy and directionless right now but maybe I’m just doing it wrong. While characters do gain EXP in combat it seems the main way of leveling them up is via feeding them specific items, and amassing these is slow, at least right now.
Being able to make dupe characters for limit breaking once you have acquired them is nice but time and/resource gated and how important high star characters will be I’m not sure of yet since I’m still early in the game.
The game’s auto-AI is surprisingly competent.
At this point I’ll probably stick with it until a major event or something comes and that will likely be the make or break point for me.

You can dupe an SSR or SR that you already have, You basically select 1 or more SSR/SR that you own to dupe and one of them will randomly be selected. You can just list 1 SSR to dupe so that you'll always get what you want, the reason why you may want to add a bunch of SSRs and SRs is because for each SSR you knock 1 hour off the cooldown time and 2 hours for each Srs.
