Does /jp/ like Harvest Moon? I just started playing Rune Factory 2. The last Harvest Moon I "completed" though was the original.

I like 'em. The Wii one is good, but I honestly wouldn't play it without reading up on it online a bit. Some of the ways things are handled are not exactly intuitive.

Last one I played was Friends of Mineral Town.

I haven't played RF2 in a while, trying to get back into it.

Dropped going after Mana after hearing about how weird she is after marriage, deciding between Ceci or the merchant.

The thing I really disliked about Tree of Tranquility (the wii one) is that for some reason, Elli who in all the other games is one of the girls you can marry (and my favorite), for some reason is not an option in ToT though she does show up working in the town hall.

I had this issue, finally did some reading, there is ONE item in the entire game you can give someone to move their relationship at an acceptable pace. Sometimes it only barely makes sense. I am going for Cinnamon right now, for example, and the entire time the fact that she loves fish and fishing is thrown at you, but apparently she likes magic crystals ten times as much as the best fish in the game. Go figure.
