Pic unrelated.

Just over three years ago. Would go back, lots of places I didn't visit. If only I had money to travel...

Yeah, I have. I was adopted by white folk who love to travel and turned into a spoiled little bitch. Instead of getting a car as a graduation gift, I got a trip to Japan. Pic related.

i've been there twice in 3 1/2 years.
first time for 3 weeks when i studied japanese and then in the middle of may '07 for 18 months working there.
i came back in mid nov '08; just in time for the fucking recession...if i had stayed there, i'd be a rich cunt now because the exchange rate is incredible now

>> No.2327630

Funny thing is, while I was in japan this summer, the exchange was around 176 yen per euro, and I still have a fair amount of yen.

>> No.2327636

I've never even left my province, let alone been to another country. Don't have that kinda cash.

when i was there, the yen > AUD was about equal. so what i was sending home was the same amount.
then when i get home, the exchange fell.
it was 50 yen = $1AUD

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>> No.2328913

Lived in Fukuoka City for 15 months, loved it. travelled around and visited the big towns, Tokyo, Osaka, etc..

It's been years...I miss it, really I do (tears).

>> No.2328979

I've lived in Osaka.
