You don't have to rip audio tracks every time, but then you must use a good disc emulator (Alcohol Portable supports CD-DA tracks) and the game must've been properly ripped (things like .bin+cue are most likely fine, .iso most likely isn't). Don't trust it too much. I'm not far into it, but writers that don't even put minor effort into researching what they are writing about, can probably not be trusted. Finished off Silverio Trinity and it was a pretty damn good sequel to already damn good chuunige. It built upon the themes established in Vendetta excellently and really endeavoured to offer a different perspective. The routes this time were way more balanced but on the other hand, the heroines, with the exception of Rain, were pretty eh. The antagonists were all really good too and I especially enjoyed the relationship between MC and the true antagonist and the way the final fight ended was pretty damn surprising. Overall, it was a really well written chuunige and I'm looking forward to seeing how Takahama top off the series with Ragnarok.

I would definitely recommend using a walkthrough for 1-4 since they are old jrpgs. For them it's not so much missed scenes as it is just finding where you need to go to progress. The other games it's pretty easy to find all the events and to progress, the biggest stand outs are 鬼畜王 which is optional entirely and 7 which has actual routes and gameplay specific flags to get into them, although I would still say don't use a guide for 7 until you've played it once.

From what I remember the main character has amnesia and visits this town with a loli in tow, I dont think him and the loli are that well acquainted. For some reason when people die they turn into flowers and the landscape is filled with these very flowers, they glow too, one of the main heroines is an angel like being that oversees when people die and turn into flowers and comforts them in their last moments. The demo is typical moege with the mc meeting the people in town, getting a place to stay at the flower shop etc. and in the end of the demo an angel oversees a little girl dying and you come face to face this angel in a cliffhanger.

In summary, Jinki's probably only good as fanservice for people who already like the series. Those expecting literature or engaging mechanics are out of luck.
Gameplay is tedious shit and the story is short and not well composed, but at least the character artwork holds up well to modern aesthetic standards.
