I love her insight as someone who knows every aspect of the afterlife! She is very interesting and complex. I would love for her to analyze all the characters and their prospective afterlives in the way she did for SWR's story mode.

I love how sweet and kind she is, the reason she take so long is because she go beyond of what is needed for her job and try to make sure each soul have time to tell their story and feeling, I wish I could explain it better but the point is that she a girl with good hearts

Komachi doesn't care about who dies in canon, she's a fucking DEATH GOD, a GRIM REAPER. She literally courts people across the final stage of death as a job. It's not even that she's comfortable with death, she believes in it and thinks the cycle of reincarnation is a precious thing that must be maintained. Sure, she'd rather people not die, and it's implied a bit that a lot of the reason for that is that she enjoys life, but another reason is you dying = work for her, which is a bother. Otherwise she is the same person who, in canon, sees a dead child on the shigan and reacts as if this is something she's seen countless times. Tells the kid to move on, it's time to die.

The manga is still fine but the "It's not Komachi"ness of it is sort of killing me now. This is supposed to be the same character who, with nearly all of her known dialogue, is speaking of death fondly? The one who's gotten so upset at immortals that she's threatened them, and the one who got so pissed off at a rampaging celestial for fucking with the reincarnation cycle that she personally went to heaven and later to a pocket dimension intending on kicking her ass and punishing her?

Large breasts are symbolic of fertility and life, so there is an irony there. Moreover, making her soft but also imposing adds numerous layers to the effect of "the embrace of death", whether that be "gentle embrace" or "smothering embrace" or so on.
She is not, however, lazy. She simply goes at her own pace. She has her own work ethic. Death comes for all, but death is not eager; death is patient, death is methodical, and death will always wait another day if staved off. This is in contrast to Iku Nagae, the touhou explicitly described as lazy; Iku will take shortcuts, resolve things quickly and sloppily, and generally try to cheat out of work whenever possible. Komachi just does her job, never speeding up, never slowing down. Her boss calls it slacking off, but she's hardly dragging her feet. The differences between being lazy and not working as hard as you can isn't even subtle when you get down to it.

I agree with that assessment.
Canon Komachi is a philosopher who will easily speak of a person's afterlife, whether that is peaceful or miserable, like telling Youmu her soul may be woefully empty when she dies. Komachi deals harsh truths with a casual air and is not a softie.
