Fellow /jp/,

What is the best topic to introduce a Comparative Literature work?

I was thinking of something on the influence of Shakespeare on other works.
(Pic related.)

Any ideas? The more twisted, the better.

Why not analyze fairy tales and legends from both cultures, suggest how they differ in the lessons they teach (if each culture prides itself on different virtues) and which core ideas are preserved.

Also, try so see what the other culture makes of the other's works, such as western interpretations of works like Journey to the West, or Eastern versions of things like Alice in Wonderland. (there should be no end of material incorporating that.)

I already thought about Alice in Wonderland, but I will save that for another presentation on the symbology of labyrinths (for another subject).

Thank you for your contribution :)
