I'm not sure what to make of the imagery so far.

She has a few pleasant areas, such as the park or the pipe organ scene with the girl in the theater, while basically all of Matsudoki's worlds were unnerving or at least bizarre.

But on the other hand, the gore/death themes seem a little more heavy handed (like the hospital, a graveyard world, the blood world, plus the ambush thing).

It's hard to say whether she's more or less stable than Matsudoki was.

This game seems to go for screamers pretty often, its purpose seems to be more to scare the shit out of you most of the time. While the first game was disturbing, the bizarre landscapes and creatures seemed to be the work of a complex imagination. Perhaps this protagonist's retreat from society is due to much more direct assaults on her well being.

Have the lantern.
Go to the green block world. Go left until you see a straight line going up. It's not very far. Go up it, until you enter a door.
Equip the lantern, and poke the blue guy until it turns yellow. And flash the lantern a few times maybe, I dunno. Eventually it will turn yellow, then you can get the boy ability from it.

The lantern is in the forest/cloud world, in a hole.
Go up past the floating mustache thing and take a left. It's not hard to find the hole.
Once you find it, there's a little maze you follow.

- keep killing the blue bouncy things behind the curtains

- in the cat hallway, kill the black cross-legged guy and sit in his chair. Wait... wtf's the point?

I wanted to check the old thread for my questions, but it's already dead.

I'm still having problems getting the lantern, all I have is the telephone (slowpoke, yeah I know). As an earlier post said, it's in a hole nearby a floating mustache. I believe I found the right hole (the one with signs and stuff around it, right?), but I'm not able to into it when I press either Enter or Z. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh god what the fuck is that? At first I thought I was seeing stuff or that there was some sort of graphical glitch, because it only happened sometimes and it would be this weird blurry flash of color at the edge of the screen. Then I realized I could follow it. I managed to get a screenshot of it but it keeps running away so you can't actually see it clearly ingame.
