A question for you fags who go to college and live in dorms, by yourselves (like me) I assume:

If you were moving into a new dorm building and walked into a room to see some guy listening to Touhou music, playing three eroge on one of two dual monitors, Megami magazines and weaboo games piled up on his desk and tons of figs and nendoroids on his shelf, what exactly would you say? What would you DO?

I ask because I met someone like this today when I was moving. Coolest fucking guy ever. Shy, withdrawn but otherwise pretty ordinary. I play SWR and Meltan with him a lot, now, and we spent the last hour discussing theories and shit about Umineko.

Well I know a few people who are into games and Anime. It's fun, we talk a lot and play together. They happen to be my best friends too, and I game a lot with them. But I have yet to be friends with a real hardcore Anime fan that plays games like Touhou and has stuff like figures.

But to be honest, I don't really know if that would be such a great idea. I mean, even though my close friends know I'm into this stuff, I keep this pretty hidden. I do go to college and I don't really like that other people know what I watch or what I fap to. I bet most of you also go lengths to hide your powerlevel.

Now, would you really like to be friends with a guy that keeps shouting to everyone what he does, watches, etc? I know not all big fans are like that, but chances are that if you know one, he is like that.

There are exceptions, hopefully OP's case, but I'm fine by only sharing my stuff with you guys.

My friend from a college club(not an anime club, one for my major) is like this. I went over to his house and he had a bookshelf full of figs and a daimakura on his bed. He turns to me and says "Yeah I'm a geek but...you are who you are". Then I reveal my power levels and now we play Meltan and other imported games together. Don't be a jewfag and shun someone for having massive powerlevels in their room

I honestly wouldn't do anything. What they do is their business and just because they share the same hobbies as me doesn't mean we'll be best buddies for life. If we're in the same dorm room, then I'll maybe talk to him a bit, but otherwise, I'll just go on with my life.

Doesn't matter to me. My power level is so far beyond anyone else's that it's almost impossible for me to connect to fellow weeaboos IRL anyways. Stuff like Melty Blood/Megami are on the same level as Naruto/Bleach in my eyes, but I am only an asshole about it on the internet. As long as the person is nice IRL, then I couldn't give two shits about his hobbies or what games/anime he likes.

But I'm glad that you found a cool friend, OP. People of similar power levels tend connect in the most profound ways. One day, I hope to find someone who has a maximum power level that is also equal to my own.

But we will either be the best of bros, or end up hating each other's guts. Because when two maximum power levels are close together, the sky will start to crackle, the earth will get torn asunder, and Namek will explode in 5 minutes.

I'll tell everyone else that there's a weirdo living in there. I'll show everyone his loli stuff, and they'll hopefully beat him up. All of my figs, hidden, but scattered in places across the room, places where those savages could never have the brains to find them.

And all the stuff that that guy had? It's in my room, scattered with all the other brown boxes, a normal scene for a guy who just moved in. Fate has chosen me to become his successor, as he didn't have the smarts to survive this trail. I'll make a hole in one of the boxes and hump it furiously, until I have claimed all the items inside for myself with my man-seed.

But before that, I'll lock the door. Something the other guy should have done.

It wouldn't bother me unless he talked about it non-stop in public. We talk eroge and that kind of shit too, but if it ever comes up in public we talk really quietly or just save it for later.

To tell you the truth, I'm actually impressed with his level. He's already got down the 2000 basic kanji, and was helping me read the Turn of the Golden Witch manga earlier.

Outside of his room, aside from some Touhou pins he keeps on his bag, he doesn't show an interest in anything anime/Jap related whatsoever. He's a pretty cool guy, albeit quiet and REALLY, REALLY shy.
