If you can finish Normal with 6 lives you'll probably be able to 1cc Hard first try. It's barely any harder, and it's a hell of a lot more fun.

So after almost-perfecting out normal I should just go hard and not do the extra stage? I just tried it a few times, it seems it is only a bunch of memorization.

Yeah. I did Hard quite a wihle before Extra. PCB's Extra stages are boring to learn (I guess they all are now that I think about it).

Might also consider learning to use Sakuya B, since she has the most potential in PCB, and is very fun to use, in my opinion. Un-focused speed that's nice and quick but not un-controllable like Marisa's, and a nice fast focused speed. Huge graze radius and the ability to shoot multiple places at once.

Well it does look awesome to dodge 5000 bullets while actually only moving a bit.
Also Necro-fantasia sounds ten times as awesome if you play through it. I think I will try to beat extra.

I'm having trouble on Extra mode with the following:

Chen's Blue Oni Red Oni spellcard
Ran's Charming Siege spellcard
Ran's Unilateral Contact spellcard

go to the middle, and go THROUGH the bubbles ASAP; too slow, and the needles will pop you dry

First, you need to take note the initial blast and their positioning. Then you need to anticipate where Ran will roll them. Staying too close to her will result in butterfly embrace and lost lives.
