Even Buffy is better

Buffy came out long before Tsukihime. Also, Buffy is more a clone of Devil Hunter Yohko.

NO, Xander.

I liked Spike more than SHIKI, Roa or Nero, even though he was blonde. On the contrary, Angel was a gigantic faggot.

I'd really hoped that no one actually watched Buffy, but sadly that has proven a vain hope.

Why is that ? Buffy had everything people liked in Tsukihime : mediocre drama, ACTION SCENES, lolvampires, and flat-chested chicks.

Yeah but you still want to run your tongue all over David Boreanes's body

And to compare it to another Type-Moon product, Buffy even had her own Mind of Steel end in Season 2.

Seven seasons, bro. Somebody had to be watching it.

...What? No. You're just ignoring vital character traits and overstating others for the purpose of trolling, as usual.

Now hold on a second. If she's never slain any vampires, how'd she get to be part of the burial agency?

Or rather, if she's part of the burial agency, how can she have not slain any vampires.

Buffy was nothing like Tsukihime. You are trolling.

The fact that someone was watching it can be explained by >>2270761

Suddenly we all realize that Buffy the Vampire slayer is the perfect movie adaption of Tsukihime if it had a female protagonist.
Angel fits Arcueid's role wonderfully.

actually I only watched angel, fuck buffy.

That's an oddly specific scene to watch.

I'm not trolling here. Even if you don't like it, Buffy has TONS of similarities to Tsukihime.
Your "so deep and meaningful" plot twists were all covered by Buffy's.

- Main protagonist is a teenager whose quiet life is overturned by the appearance of supernatural beings ? Checked.
- Vampires struggling against their instincts ? Checked.
- Main characters turning mad, then seeking redemption ? Checked.
- Immortality / mortality paradox and relations ? Checked.
And finally :
- Love leading to self-sacrifice and death ? Checked.

Even the useless stuff like powerlevel hierarchy and lolrape were in Buffy. Absolutely the only missing things are explicit H-scenes. Are they THAT important to you, Mr. White Pedo ?

Maybe he just really likes Sarah Michelle Geller.

He probably likes Ciel, too.

Since they're both, you know, OLD.

>> No.2271462

>>2271305
There are many similarities to be found in other vampire and varied supernatural stories.
It's not the themes and certain plot elements that made Tsukihime unique(good or bad, different story), it was the overall world setting, mechanics and Nasu execution of said events. Also, the main character personalities are not what you would expect for their 'purpose' in the story.

Seven seasons. That's all I have to say.

I mean, seriously. It's like saying 'X cartoon is totally the same thing as The Simpsons because of Y similarities'; The Simpsons has been on for so fucking long that all you have to do is be a cartoon and you can list similarities out the ass. Seven seasons of Buffy is more than enough for anything else with even moderately nonstandard vampires to have a lot of the same themes that were expressed during those seven years.

>> No.2271604

>>2271305
Holy fuck, you've listed major themes from practically every tragedy story ever written with slightly supernatural elements. Throw them into a soap opera setting, and you've got Buffy.

AWESOME.

>Mr. White Pedo ?

They see me trollin', they hatin'.
