MonsterVN/Monster Farmer 2 dev, here.

Did a bunch of work on the tile sets that are going to be used in Monster Farmer 2. Here's one example. The side-view of the walking animations for character sprites is the only thing that seems super challenging. Everything else is basically just trial and error. I've begun working with a few actual competent artists who've given me some useful feedback.

MVN is going slowly. Yaya's route is done, I'm still working on Helga's. Thanks to everyone who liked Helga's story in Mamano Hidamari, it's definitely made me want to write more about her.

I've also been fucking around in Godot, but it seems like it'll be a while before I can make a good comprehensive game in the engine so I'll stick to RPGMaker, for now.
