Are you happy with /jp/ and the changes in posters and threads over the past 5~7 years?

Do you even need to ask?

You never know. A blessing sometimes comes in dressed as a curse.

I just want the old Remi threads back. The ones where people worshipped the ground she walked on, the ones where everyone wanted to be her blood donor, or slave.

Considering what /a/ looks like now, I think /jp/ has survived remarkably well. Granted, I filter everything that isn't Touhou or the photography thread. The nu-4chan culture of the late 2010s seems to have little interest in that side of /jp/. Of course it isn't perfect, but take a look at the posting in any one of the idol generals for comparison, for example.

this is more or less how i feel. /jp/ isnt great and its certainly declined in quality, but it has survived and retained its board culture better than most in the face of this shit era of the website. compared to other niche boards /jp/ is still at least somewhat unique and doesnt just spam the popular/v/ /tv/ etc memes in all threads. those seem to be gaining steam unfortunately so perhaps its just a matter of time, but compared to boards like /g/, /tg/, or /ck/ i realize it could be much, much worse.

i also don't wax poetic about the age of tripfags here either. i dont miss them or NEET blogposting at all. so even though the overall board is less fun i think its kind of a lateral move from these faggots to idolshitters

I rarely even go here anymore.
Catalog is pretty much the exact same everyday with the same garbage ERPing/waifufaggotry in 2hu threads and the new userbase has quite literally a stick up their asses with their shitty no fun allowed attitude.
I wouldn't recommend visiting here except when some new 2hu stuff (game/manga/etc.) is released.

What did it used to be like in here?

Imagine Death himself riding upon his steed.

But instead of a scythe, he was telling you to sage and asked who you were quoting.

For all the obvious problems, it's kind of the best place to discuss Touhou, because everything else is even worse, dead, or both.

Good. People can fuck off.

Yeah I absolutely love the influx of posters from /trash/ with hook noses trying to push SHITTED, feet, and diaper memes on my perfect waifu as a way to demoralize me as a man and turn me as subhuman as them, why do you ask, 4channel employer?

Remi threads still happen!

Look at what /jp/ looks like today, then look at what it used to look like:

It's pretty obvious it was way better in the past.

Not him. I rarely post here anymore but there were oldfag wannabes that act more like spergs than /jp/ usual attitude and seems to took /jp/ culture and "elitism" the wrong way, intentionally or not. They most likely came from other board themselves.
They are probably still around.
