I wouldn't try to put either Tsukihime or Fate/Stay Night on a pedestal, since neither of them are perfect. Don't get me wrong, NO eroge is perfect, but there are some aspects to them which are no big deal to some of us and TORTURE for others.

For example, the descriptions of pain. The fact that they're so long-winded and meticulous really bugs me. The filler? Also annoying. But some of the scenes that are flashbacks, reflections of past events in a character's life, in particular, are very touching. I give at least Nasu that much.

I can't really bitch out Type-Moon for it's "variety." 07 Expansion, which isn't even actually a company, also only really has two games out, now. BUT, like Fate and Tsukihime, there's a shitload of media, manga and fanart and novels and all that based on them.

I've heard that Type-Moon has said they didn't think Japanese -> English translations work well, so they won't be releasing their official works in English, but I've never heard of Nasu ever sending any kind of angry email talking about translators. If it existed, I doubt mirror moon would be hosting the patch.
